Chapter 9: Drug Scandal

Back with another chapter my lovely Pandemonium. Mild cursing. Ok, wasting no time let's get into it, shall we?

We were laughing and having fun until Alec's phone went off.

     "Um, guys, we have a problem." 

I walk over to him. "What is it, bro?" Then all our phones blow up, and I take mine out. It shows pictures of me taking my medicine. The headline was talking about me taking drugs. 

Everyone looks at me and Jimin-Hyung for an explanation. "When walking back, my phone went off telling me I forgot to take my medicine, so I did. I was not thinking about the fact that this would happen."

     "Come the fuck on little bro. When do you ever think Janghyuk? The things you do can affect your group. As an idol you should know this," Alex yelled. He never yelled at me before and it scared me.

     "I agree it was not smart, but can't we just explain that he takes medicine," Angel asked.

     "Yea, but things like this can ruin an idol's career even if the scandal is fake," said Namjoon-Hyung.

Angel steps out if inform our manager about what is going on. When he returned he said the manager and Big Hit will release a statement clearing up the issue. However, I would need to address the public and our fans about it. After everything settled back down my members and BTS went back to their rooms. We still had to be up early for our next stop for the European tour.

Months later...

It was early in the morning as we got on to our plane from Spain to head back to Korea. The tour was a complete success! Despite the statement Big Hit released, I did receive hate because of the drug scandal.

I will be addressing the public the day after we get back to clear everything up. Still, the hashtag KickJay-KobeFromPandemic was going around and was not helping me at all. My brother was still pissed at me because word got back to his boss and asked if he took drugs too.

Things could be better that is for sure, but the members are surprisingly not too mad. Our fans backed me up saying "Jay-Kobe Oppa should be giving time to explain." I was happy that true fans did not come at me and make assumptions. It was stupid of me to take medicine in public though because I should have known better. I close my eyes to go to sleep only to open them minutes later to be shaken awake by Damien.

     "Jay-Kobe come on we landed."

We get out and pile into the vans headed for the dorms. After getting to the building BTS said bye as they walked to their dorm. The group walks in and is greeted by the same dorm we left. It felt weird being back after being gone for so long. Alex goes to his room because work is calling and the other members do their own thing. I decided to turn on the tv and that was a mistake because it was gossip about the incident in France.

     "Three months ago in Paris, France idol Jay-Kobe was witnessed walking and taking a mystery pill. The idol has made no official statement and will be addressing the public about the incident. Many fans say it was not drugs, but a vitamin defending the idol. We will have more on the story soon so stay tuned."

I throw the remote to the other side of the couch. I go to my room and change into some workout clothes and head to the gym to blow off some steam. Walking into the gym I see some elts in there. The young man has black workout shorts and a white shirt and blue hair. He is taller than me so I have to look up slightly. He extended his hand and introduced himself.

     "Why have I not seen you here before? My name is Soobin, nice to meet you."

I shake his hand and smile. "Hi, Hyung my name is Janghyuk, though I go by my stage name Jay-Kobe. I am a part of the group Pandemic, we just got back from our first tour today."

     "That's right we heard about the first all foreign group under BigHit. We were on tour when you debuted. We watched Pandemic's live debut at our hotel. I wish I had been there in person because it was a good performance.

We worked out together and talked about how our lives have changed since becoming an idol. After working out we exchanged numbers and headed back to our separate dorms. Strolling into the dorm I see everyone except is watching a movie. I decide to go to my lab and work on my song. An hour later I get a knock on the door. "Come in," I say, and I see Alex walking in and sitting on the couch.

     "What are you working on, Jay?"

After what happened, Alex did not talk to me since it happened. "Look at you. You don't talk to me on tour for three months, and you ask me what I'm working on? I get it, ok? I fucked up big time and caused trouble, but I will make it right ok? I am sorry I know it was stupid of me."

     "Look I should not have ignored you like that. It was wrong of me I was stressed about this whole situation.

     "I forgive you." We talked more after that and then I went to bed. I needed to be up early tomorrow for the press.
