Chapter 37: Eight Years Later

Hey, guys I know it has been a while. I have been working on my other story Ghoul of Hope. That and I was having some serious writer's block. For my fellow Wattpaders know what I mean right? Well with the block over. This will be the final chapter in the story. I am starting to run low on ideas for the story. Ok, let's get into the chapter, shall we?

Jay-Kobe's Pov 8 years later

It has been about a year since our contracts expired. The past seven years were great, but when it came time to resign the members wanted to stop. Nothing bad happens, of course, just some wanted to live a normal life. Angel, Jordan, and Joseph all moved back to the states. Damian and I started our solo careers. BTS also disbanded a year aga and Tomorrow by Together resigned for another seven years. Soobin and I still try to meet up when we are free.

My brother still works in music. He founded his own agency called Starlight Entertainment. As for me, I ended up signing under my brother's company as their first solo artist. The rest of HighLight also disbanded living their lives as normal people. StayKids ended up resigning under my brother's company after their contracts with JYP ended.

My son Sunny is now 16 and is in his second year in high school! He and his girl are still together.

Right now I am heading to the main practice room to meet Starship. Starship is the first boy group this is going to debut under my brother's company. Walking in I see them dancing to my old group debut song. Man do  I feel old. "Great job you guys. That song brings me back." The four boys stop and turn not expecting to see me. They stop and bow to me. Then my brother walks in. Then a boy who I assume is the leader walks to him.

     "Pd-nim how nice to see you."

     "Likewise Joonwin. Everyone I would like you to meet someone. Jay-Kobe if you would."

I smile and step forward. "I'm you cute and innocent bean Jay-Kobe. Nice to meet you all." They all clap and bow. "I see you were dancing to my former group's debut song."

     "Yes, Hyung. We find Pandemic's music inspiring. You do not care about opinions and make music you love. Oh, I am sorry for my rudeness."

The four boys line up.

    "Three, Two, One blast off! Hello, we are Starship. Ready to blow your minds with out-of-this-world music," they said in unison. 

     "Nice to meet you all." My older brother then starts to talk.

     "I brought my brother here to hopefully give you all some advice."

     "Be yourselves ok? Find your own identity and style. Focus on that and you will be successful. I cannot wait to see your live debut next week fighting!"

Week of debut

I was sitting in the crowd with some other idols I know waiting for the show to start.

     "Everyone we have a hot debut alert! Making their live debut right now, please welcome Starlight Entertainment's new boy group Starship with their song Blast Off.! 

I look over at my brother with a proud look. Watching the group perform I was shocked at how well they danced and sang. Overall it was a great performance. This fifth generation of idols will sore high no doubt about it.
