Caught You~ Villain Deku x Todoroki

Prologue : Shoto Todoroki

“Your boy will be attending UA right?” A faceless politician asks.

“That is correct. He just finished his entrance exam this morning, isn’t that right Shoto?” Endeavor answers.

“Yes. I scored the highest out of the recommended students,” he adds, trying his best to play such a meaningless game. 

“Please excuse me,” Shoto dismisses himself. He weaves through the crowd. Stealing a glass of champagne from one of the waiters on his way. He steps outside away from the noise of everyone trying to gain something at someone’s expense. He almost felt bad for the poor guy he left with his father because he currently holds the tie breaking vote on a bill that his dad would like to be passed. Watching all of these snakes just adds to hatred that Shoto feels towards the world. Memories of his father striking either him or one of his siblings sends chills down his spine. Shoto downs the whole glass of champagne, wishing that they were serving something stronger, like the whiskey his dad keeps in his office. 

A boy born lucky. He was gifted with a powerful quirk and to a wealthy family. His own father is the number two hero in Japan and trains Shoto himself. Shoto Todoroki, destined for greatness. The envy of most kids that knew him. However some pictures hold more secrets than ink. 

Shoto was Endeavor's masterpiece. A tool he could use to finally surpass All Might. He trained Shoto. Hard. Without rest. In isolation. If Shoto couldn't get something right Endeavor beat him unconscious, all for the cycle to start over when he woke up. 

This abuse extended to the rest of the family as well. If one of them broke his rules, Endeavor would beat them senseless. Putting them in the hospital time after time. All of which was swept under the rug for a little bit of cash. Over the years Shoto grew a deep hatred for his father, along with other heros who seeming;y ignored or helped his father.

Not being the only one, his mother snapped. She was helpless to stop Endeavor. Stuck in a situation that's so perfectly hidden nobody believes her. Forced to stay with a man that only needed her to create an offspring with a powerful quirk. It drove her mad.

One night Shoto walked in at the wrong time. His mother was boiling some water for tea while talking to her sister. She rambled on about Shoto's left side. 

"I can't take it anymore," she whispered. 

"Mom, " Shoto called out. 

When she turned around, the small boy was frozen by fear. Her eyes were void of reason. Wide with small pupils. The kettle whistled, triggering his mother. She grabbed the kettle and stomped over to Shoto, grabbing a fist full of his white hair tightly. She poured boiling hot water over his left eye. 

"AHHHHHHH!! " He screamed in agony. He begged his mom over and over again to stop but she didn't. Not until Endeavor pulled her off him. He punched her in the face knocking her out and then called for an ambulance. 

There's no doubt that he is powerful, and "lucky" in society's standards, but he doesn't see it that way. Shoto's whole life has been decided for him, and he hates it. He no longer dreams of becoming a hero and saving people, he now only dreams of being free.
