Todoroki's POV
"What's your name? " A low, soothing voice asks. Everything is spinning, and the ringing in my ear is so loud. My name.
"Shoto, " My last name is " Todoroki. " My own voice sounds muffled and soft. The ringing gets louder.
"How's your head feel Todoroki? " The voice asks again. I can't focus. The more I think the louder the ringing becomes. How do I answer that question? My head hurts? The ringing grows louder. I feel a small pinch in my neck and the ringing stops, the world fading into black.
_____When I wake up, I'm laying in a fluffy bed with black sheets. I slowly sit up looking around. The walls are made of concrete, while the floor is hardwood. The door is across from the bed, a wooden wardrobe sits against the same wall as the door on the left. It has a big cabinet for hanging clothes and three drawers under that. A fancy postal desk on the far wall. Two bookshelves situated either side of the desk. Each filled with binders and notesbooks. The whole room very neat and organized.
My eyes then land on a man sitting in an office chair. He looks to be around my age. His short unruly hair is dark green. Paired with deep emerrald green eyes. His face littered with freckles. He has a muscular build and he's kinda tall. He looks so familiar.
"I got you some water, " He says, his voice is smooth like honey. He points to a glass on the nightstand next to the bed. I look to the glass and back at him. Memories of the attack flood my mind. How he broke Kirishama's arm. My gaze hardens to a glare. He's a Villain.
"What an icy glare you have, would it help if I told you I didn't kill anyone? The only people I hurt were those who attacked me first, and all I did was knock them out, " He says putting his hands up in sarcastic defense.
"Are they here too or just me? " I try to sound as threatening as possible, but he just giggles at me.
"Just you, " He answers simply with a smug smile.
"Why am I here? " I question sternly.
"You've peeked my interest. You're eyes were so full of anger, much angier than any other hero in training, alllll though it did start to make sense after some reasurech, " His smile never falters. My heart stops, what is he talking about? I stare shocked.
"My name is Deku, it's a pleasure to meet you son of Endeavor~" He sings in a cocky tone. My fist clenches as my anger starts to bubble.
"Half cold half hot, your right side produces ice while your left produces fire, " He whistles impressed with my quirk, " It's a real shame you only used your ice. You probably could have kept yourself from getting kidnapped if you used your fire, " He teases. " Why didn't you use your fire? " He tilts his head to side slightly.
"That's none of your business, " I answer, venom lacing my tone.
"I suppose you're right, " He pouts. Though his mood quickly changes, " I've gotta say, I didn't expect Endeavor to be such a tyrant. " My eyes widen and my stomach sinks. Deku pulls out manilla folder. Opening it he starts to read over the information, " I mean really, he's put Natsuo and Fuyumi in the hospital on multiple occasions, anything from broken bones to 3rd degree burns. He must've been paying those doctors a LOT of money for them to sweep this under the rug. He treats you all like trash. Whose idea was it for you to be a hero anyways? I'm betting it wa-"
"THAT'S ENOUGH! " I shout cutting him off. Who the fuck does this guy think he is?!
His smirk widens, " It'a almost as if I've saved you Todoroki~"
"Screw you! I didn't ask for your help, so don't get all high and mighty thinking you've done me some kind of favor! " I yell standing up from the bed. Deku stands as well, walking over to me without saying a word or breaking eye contact. He stops about an inch in front of me, gripping my chin in his left hand. Deku begins to examine my face.
