Caught You~ Villain Deku x Todoroki

Chapter 17

The chase begins. I climb up the building, moving on the rooftops to follow my blue haired speedster. Darkness finally settling in around the city, and only then do I realize that there's a fire off in the distance. Well Hosu is just a hot bed tonight huh?

He looks around, running from alley to alley with no real method of search. Aimless searching doesn't seem typically for him. At least not from what I saw at the USJ. The crowd of people gets thinner as we move away from the fire and explosions. It's interesting how a crisis can attract people to it.

Finally, the erratic search ends with four eyes finding Stain. It's quiet out here. The heros must've evacuated this area already. What fast reaction time. It's too bad it left this blind spot sort of speak. Just like Stainy to seize a perfect opportunity.

"Stain!!" The boy shouts. Stain stands, hunched over he turns to look at my armored astronaut. With Stain out of the way, I'm able to catch a glimpse of the native hero, beaten and paralyzed. Out of anger, the boy charges Stain. Fist in the air for as if to throw a punch. Only to be out skilled and end up flat on his ass. Stain pulls out one of his swords, pointing the tip at the bluenette.

"A child wearing a suit? Who are you?" Stain says. I can see the boy grinding on his own teeth.

"I am the brother of an incredible hero whom you attacked. Your ideology is flawed. Do you even know the man you paralyzed? How much good he did for the public? Do you understand how you've effected his whole family?! My name is Ingenium, and I'm the one who'll put an end to your retched life," 'Ingenium' says. The venom in his tone conveys his seriousness. He really means it.

"Then die," Stain spits. 'Ingenium' is only barely able to Stains knife. He throws a counter punch, which Stain dodges, turningt to kick the boy in the chin. A loud clack sound as his mouth is forced shut.

"Ouch," I say cringing.

Stain swings his knife, nicking 'Ingenium' on the shoulder. He luckily doudge the brunt of the attack, but still, now Stain has some of your blood.

"You aspire to be a hero, yet you fail to meet the expectations of a true hero. You have no potential to be like All Might," he spits as he licks the boys blood from the blade of his knife.

He falls to the ground face first. Am audible smack as he hits the ground.

"Ouch number two," I cringe again.

"W-what is happening? Why can't I move?!" He demands.

"You had no idea what I was capable of walking into this fight. You think I killed the amount of pro heros that I have through sheer luck?" Stain taunts. He moves closer to 'Ingenium' his large serrated sword in hand.

"Shows over I guess," I sigh jumping down into the alley.

Narrator POV

"Must you kill the young hero Stain?" Deku's voice brings Stain to a stop. The tip of his blade just inches from Ida's neck.

"This boy is no hero. He sought me out for revenge, that's not heroic, and it definitely isn't what All Might would have done," Stain grits his teeth.

"Don't you believe in growth? A lesson to learn? What can a dead man learn? He's got a good head. Give him the chance to be an ideal hero like Allmight," Deku argues.

"And why should I? There's no guarantee that this worm will even learn his lesson. What are you even doing here Deku?" Stain rebuttals.

"So pessimistic. No matter. I only happened to be in the area when little Ingenium here separated from the pro who was babysitting him. I figured he might entertain me and he has. I thought I'd return the favor by saving him, playing hero for once, but I won't force you to spare him. Not really looking for a fight tonight," Deku answers. His hands safely tucked away in his pockets so Stain doesn't attack. He mulls it over before letting out a deep sigh.
