Caught You~ Villain Deku x Todoroki

Chapter 6

I edited this chapter because the first time I published it, it didn't sit right with me. If you've already read chapter six than you don't need to read it again, the events are all the same. I just wrote them better... hopefully. Anyways, thank you for reading :)

Todoroki's POV

I stand dumbfounded, watching Denki storm out of the room. My head whips to Deku as he walks to his wardrobe. He seems distraught as he puts on a suit identical to one from the other day.

"We're gonna go get your stuff from your house, so decide right now, do you want to stay or not, " Deku asks, his tone serious and gaze sharp.

"I uh i-I, " I stutter unsure of what to say. My mind flashes back to my father. Training tirelessly, being beaten, watching my siblings get beat. My hands begin to tremble and I take a deep breathe. " I want to stay with you, " I answer clenching my fists to hide the tremble. Deku smiles wide.

"I'm glad to hear that. Eri and I have grown quite attached to you, it'd been sad if you wanted to leave, " Deku says sincerely. His smile is warm and comforting.

"I have a backpack you can use and of course if you have duffle bags or backpacks at your house you want to use that's fine, I honestly don't care what you bring back and I'll get you your own wardrobe soon, " Deku explains. I nod. We make our way outside where Deku summons two wolves. But this time they are huge. Easily towering over Deku and I. It's bold yellow eyes lock with mine, it's silhouette hard to distinguish against the night sky. It feels as though this wolf could eat me whole.

"Climb on his back, he won't hurt you, " Deku explains. Noticing my hesitation, he let's out a low chuckle.

"Or would you rather ride with me?" He asks smugly. I glare at him as he climbs on the back of the other wolf. Taking a deep, shaky breath, I climb onto the back of the big black wolf. It's fur is silky soft and free of tangles. Deku whistles and they take off. My grip tightens and I hug the wolf, pressing myself as flat as I can against it's back. Going much faster than the human eye can keep track of, it doesn't take us long to reach the city. The street lights flickering as we run past, the wolves footsteps are light and unheard.

Once we make it to my house, Deku and I climb off the wolves and they melt into shadows. My eyes are glued to the scene in fascination. How the shadows dance so elegantly as they conform to the shape of the things casting them.

"Shoto~" Deku whispers in my ear from behind me, his tone low and husky. I jump turning around.

"Y-yeah, " I stutter, my face growing hot.

He giggles and answers, " Show me where your room is so we can get your stuff. " His tone proud and heavy. I nod and lead him to my bedroom window. We climb up a tree near the window, open it and go inside. Quietly walking over to my bedroom door, I lock it. Deku stands by the window leaning against the wall.

I go over to the closet and grab some shirts, a couple tank tops and three long sleeves. I stuff them in the backpack along with my two favorite hoodies. Next I walk over to my dresser and grab two pairs of sweats, two pairs of jeans, and two pairs of gym shorts and stuff them in the same bag. I zip it up and put it on the bed.

After that I walk back to my closet and grab my backpack. I make way to the bathroom, throwing my shampoo, conditner, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, and face wash in the bag. Walking out of the bathroom, I go over to the nightstand next to the bed and grab my phone charger and the picture I have of my siblings and mom, putting them in the bag.

I open my nightstand drawer and pull out a notepad and a pencil.

Dear Fuyumi and Nastou,

I'm writing to try and ease some of your worries. I'm okay. Demi hasn't hurt me and has actually taken care of me. I won't be coming back home again. I can't be the hero dad wants, and this house, it's like a reminder of our past and the family we could have been. Please don't worry, I'll be ok. I love you both, goodbye.
