Deku's POV
The full moon shines brightly through the holes between the three leaves, giving me just enough light to see. Hiking back to the asylum gives me time to think. I need to talk to Denki again. My walk through the woods is long and by the time the asylum came into view, the moon was high in the sky, putting the time around midnight.
"Honey I'm ho-" but Denki tackles me before I can finish my joke.
"Dammit you ass why would you just leave? And not bring your phone! What if something had happened?" He reprimands.
"We both needed some space so I went for a run and got a bit further away then I meant to," I sheepishly rub the back of my neck. I take a deep breath and let out a sigh. "I'm sorry for earlier. I'll try not to press buttons so much," I apologize.
"It's alright man. I'm sorry I lost my cool, I shouldn't have shocked you like that," he laughs embarrassed. We both laugh over the situation and Denki finally climbs off me.
"Where'd you end up anyways?" Denki asks as our laughs subside.
"Near UA. I bumped into Bakugo and the red head whom I learned is Kirishima," I answer. I stand and stretch out. Denki just stared up at me in awe.
"Did you two fight?"
"Nope. We just talked. It was like we were friends again," I smile.
"What exactly is your deal with Bakugo? I mean he made your life miserable for years and yet you act as though you're still his friend," Denki questions.
"Don't get me wrong, I do hate him. I can't wait for the day to finally kill that asshole, but that wont be for a while. So until then, I don't want to wallow in my anger," I answer earnestly. He nods to signal he was listening, even if he is caught up in his thoughts.
Denki let's out a heavy breath. He's never liked the thought killing. Although he has killed in the past, it's only because it was necessary at the time. I feel bad that he ever had to. He's practically my brother and I'm glad he came, but a part of me thinks I never should've let him come with me....... SMACK!
"Ow! What the hell?!" I cry turning to Denki. A deep scowl on his face as I hold the spot on my head where he hit me.
"I came of my own free will. You didn't drag me into anything and I'm more then capable of taking care of myself," Denki scowls. I chuckle nervously. Shrinking down in awe as to how he knew what I was thinking.
"It was written all over your face dumbass," Denki says flicking my forehead. A small wave of electricity run over me.
"You can be so mean sometimes, you know that?" I pout.
"Yeah whatever," the blonde chuckles. We sit here for a moment in silence. Then something clicks in both of us.
"Where's Eri and Todoroki?" I ask Denki. His face sinks.
"I haven't seen them since I stormed out of the lounge," he answer. Summoning four of my wolves, three search the first floor, while the other follows Denki and I up the stairs to search the second floor. I turn right towards other cells while Denki and my wolf goes left towards the bedrooms. I make it a decent ways down the hallway before the wolf with Denki signals that they've been found. I turn on my heels and head back.
"Where are they?" I ask finding them in front of Eri's open bedroom door.
"Shhh," Denki warns, his phone in hand. My head tilts in confusion and I move forward. Quietly. I get to the door and look inside to find Eri and Todoroki laying on the floor. Todoroki has Eri wrapped in his arms while Eri presses her face to his chest. Denki take pictures of the two of them while I look to Todoroki fondly. I'm surprised he's taken to this place so quickly. He seems to be getting more and more comfortable with each day, but that probably has more to do with Eri and Denki then me.
