Caught You~ Villain Deku x Todoroki

Chapter 7

Denki's POV

We all get settled on the couch. Todoroki on the end, Izuku beside him, with Eri in between Izuku and I. Everyone dressed in comfy clothes ready to watch, and the table has plenty of snacks set out.

"Give a round of applause for our first group. You know them from surviving a villain attack, please welcome class 1-A! " Present Mike announces on the TV.

"What is the sports festival Kaminari? " Eri asks looking up at me with big curious eyes. My face lights up at her question.

"UA likes to host big events like this all year round, the sports festival is huge because all the students can participate and show off their quirks, " I explain excitedly.

"He's right, for the students it's a chance to be noticed by agencies. Not just hero agencies either, the support course can also show off their inventions for potential buyers and sellers, " Izuku adds. He continues saying, " Although, for us viewers it's just entertaining. " He gives Eri a closed eye smile. She nods her head in understanding.

By the time we focus back into the tv, all the other classes had been introduced. The camera is on Midnight, whos standing on a mini stage in the middle of the stadium.

"Alright, we'll start with a speech from the first year representative, Katsuki Bakugo, " I cringe at her announcement. Who'd ever pick him to represent anyone?

He walks up the stage, cockiness practically oozing from him. "HAHAHA! You think any of you extras have a chance against me, HAHAHAHA!!!! Go home now before you get hurt shitbags. " He continues to laugh even after everyone has started booing and shouting at him.

"HAHAHA! " Jumping slightly, my head wips around to Izuku, who's doubled over laughing. " He ne...ver chang....es, " He says through his laughter. Todoroki shakes his head in shame over his class mates behavior. Eri just looks confused.

"Geez, is it really that funny? " I grumble.

"It's endearing. He's been the same cocky jackass our whole lives, how is this not funny to you? " Izuku answers through giggles. Finally calming down some.

I roll my eyes and return focus back to the tv. Just in time to see Midnight spin the game spinner, landing on obstacle course.

"The first game of today's events will be a 40km obstacle course race around the stadium. The only rule is to stay within the boundaries, do that and you can do whatever your pretty little hearts desires, " Midnight explains in a rather sexual manner. All the students get ready to start, the camera scaning the sea of kids. One in particular catches my eye. A boy with an extreme case of bed head and dark heavy eye bags. He sticks with me as an interesting guy, though I couldn't tell you why. The camera's focus moves away from him as the race is about to start.

"3.......... 2.......... 1 GO! " Midnight cheers and the students are off. The lot of them running right into the gate. It becomes a big mess of pushing and shoving.

I whistle one long note, showing how impressed I am with how quickly everyone got stuck. "I'd hate to be in there, I would probably get trampled, " I comment.

"Please you're stronger than that, " Izuku responds laughing at my comment. A faint smile tugs at the corner of my lips. I focus back in to see that a couple of people have made it pass. Bakugo just flies over everyone's head. A girl with long black hair tied up into a messy ponytail creates a pole and uses the force creating it generates to perpell herself out. Another guy with tape coming out of his elbows spiderman swings through, among other members of class 1-A. Then the camera gives spotlight to a boy being carried by four other students. It's the same purple haired boy from earlier.
