I entered the BigHit building. I looked around while slowly walking. I jumped when I heard Yoongi's voice. "Hey... oh sorry. Let's go this way. You're gonna love Joon's studio."

We walked down a few halls and then stopped in front of a door. A sign with RKive was next to it. Yoongi opened it and let me in. I was in awe. It was amazing. I could see Namjoon all over. Yoongi was right, I love it.

He told me just to wait for Namjoon. I was already shaking. I was trying to control my breathing but it was becoming increasingly more difficult. I had tears welling up in my eyes. It was a panic attack. Nothing brought it on, it just happened. Namjoon then walked it. Concern immediately took over him. He closed the door and came over to me. I was on his incredibly comfortable couch.

"Help... me" I said in between breaths.

"Can I touch you"

"Hold me tight." My voice was choppy and breaking

"What?"

"I need you to hold me as tight as you can. Please." It took me forever to get out the whole sentence.

He finally held me. It helped soothe my breathing. He started rocking me as my tears began to decrease.  I curled up as close as I could to him.

"You're safe. It's gonna be okay."

After I calmed down, I tapped his back. "I think I'm okay now... The reason I needed you to hold me like that is because it suppresses the nervous system. In laymen's terms, it calms things down. Cows are squeezed tightly before being slaughtered. The same principle applies for situations in which intense fear occurs."

"What happened? Why did you have a panic attack?"

"That's the thing about panic attacks. You don't always know. Anxiety attacks are easier to explain. There is a trigger and then intense panic. Many people come to the ER for a panic attack. It's as if they are having a heart attack. There wasn't a trigger. It just happened." I was starring into space. I couldn't move. I wouldn't dare to look at him. He just walked in on me freaking out.

It's scary for the person experiencing the attack, but also for anyone who is with them. They don't have a lot of power. The only thing you can do is try to ground them, be with them. It's also exhausting for the victim.

He went to his mini fridge to get me a water. "Drink this. It has electrolytes which should help after you cried. I drink these after a dance practice or after working out."
