"Who the hell told him?" James sighed, taking off his jacket and throwing it onto the couch as we walked back in through the door.

"Who the hell told the government because you know that's how he found out." Sam groaned and fell back onto the couch, James joining him.

"Guess it's out there now." I leaned against the door frame to the main living area, twiddling my fingers

"No hiding it any more." Sam smiled sympathetically up to me.

"Didn't take long for word to spread." James added, leaning forward to lean on his elbows resting on his knees.

"But how?" Sam questioned. The boys expressions confused me; they were confused? They were wondering who leaked it?

"How do you think? Who else knows about me?" I stepped into the living area and stood in front of both boys.

"Sharon wouldn't" James shook his head, but Sam looked down to the floor.

"Of course she would Bucky! Open your eyes!" I shouted at him. Anger filled my veins as he defender her. HER of all people! "She told Nagel. I know she did. Why would he lie about something like that? He would gain nothing from it. She gains everything for lying."

James sighed and stood up, standing in front of me, "She helped us before"

"And she screwed me over before" I started to raise my voice. I was getting rather annoyed at him...why is he defending her so much?! Surely her own family, AKA me, not defending her should count for something?

"I trust her." James said simply.

That's what took me over the edge. He trusted her? After what has happened between him and I, and yet he's going to trust her more than me!? "More than you trust me? Well, maybe you should go shag her instead then!" I shouted without even thinking. It just slipped out, but I meant it.

James took a small step to get closer to me, but I refused to back down. I stared at him, as best as I could, in the eyes. His were filled with anger and... sadness? Currently, I was just mad. I didn't want to be near him, but I didn't want to back down.

"Calm down guys. Let's take a minute." Sam stood up and put an arm between the two of us, patting James on the shoulder with the other.

We both stared at each other for a few more moments before James swallowed and turned to walk away, "fine." he mumbled and walked out the house, slamming the front door as he went.

Sam too wondered outside, but he went out back. He took out his phone and called the only person who had a chance of straightening this whole thing out.

"I don't know what you want me to say, Sam." Sharon's voice came down the line.

"I want you to say it wasn't you." Sam pleaded with her

"It wasn't me." Sharon put simply, but it was as if Sam could feel her smirk down the line.

"Why don't I believe you?" Sam paced the garden, trying to figure out the next move. He was still unsure who was after Mallory, and if they were ever going to catch up. Or, maybe they already had?

"Believe what you want." Sharon sighed

"Who's after her?" Sam asked blankly, just wanting this whole situation over and done with so he could get back to his family, his boat, and his life. He hadn't promised Steve anything, but he felt like he had a duty to care for her, protect her and make sure no harm comes to her. Afterall, Steve trusted him and Bucky to help her. He already let Steve down once, he didn't plan on doing it again.

Sharon's small laugh echoed through the telephone line, "Now that would be telling ..."
