"Taehyun, I got you something!" Lia yelled, running over to him at his locker.

"What?" He asked, shutting it and laughing at how excited and out of breath she looked.

"So Soobin helped me study recently, so if you haven't gotten him anything, I would like you to give him this." She handed him a silver heart locket and he opened it, seeing that picture of them at the pool again.

"Wow... this is awesome Lia. Thank you."

"You can give me credit... if you want. It's just my way of thanking him. Well, I gotta go to English. Languages and things like that. I'll talk to you later, okay?"

He nodded, watching her walk away before looking back down at the locket in shock. It was so pretty and sweet, and he held it against his heart and took a deep breath.

"Babe," he heard a voice from behind him. He quickly stuffed it in his pocket and turned around to see Soobin and Yeonjun walking over. "I'll talk to you later Yeonjun."

They did their signature hand shake and Taehyun chuckled.

"See you later bro. Nice to see you again Taehyun," Yeonjun said before leaving, probably to go to his school down the road.

"This place is overly sweet." He looked around at the red and pink heart posters and everybody who was holding boxes of chocolates and roses.

"Well, Soobin, not everybody has found love like we have. Are we going out tonight?"

Soobin shrugged. "Guess you could say that."

"Tell me," Taehyun giggled, looking up at Soobin with happy, sparkling eyes.

"Well, that one movie you've really been wanting to watch. And then walking around the park. And then a picnic at our spot."

Taehyun bit his lip and looked away blushing, squealing loudly when Soobin kissed his burning cheek.

Later that day, they did all those things. They went to a movie, the park, and finally, their spot. It overlooked the skyline of Seoul, making it look pretty with the moonlight and everything.

They sat on a blanket, eating Chinese takeout and making each other laugh the entire time.

"So..." Taehyun said. "I never asked you. Why did you come sit next to me at lunch six years ago?"

"Well, you were sitting alone and you looked sad. And I kinda liked you."

Taehyun smiled and nodded, recalling those times where life was simpler. Now there was something that terrified him.

"Soobin, if you want to go to that college in Busan, you should. I'll wait here, and when I graduate, I'll come to Busan too."

"Tae-"

"It's only three hours away, and both of us can drive. I don't think it'll be that bad."

"Taehyun, I told you. I'll take a break for a year, and then go to college with you when you graduate."

"But you don't wanna do that," he said exasperatedly, laying down and looking at the stars. "Don't change everything for me."

"It's not your choice to make." Taehyun sighed and looked away from him, the entire situation upsetting him. "I wanna take a break anyway. For years, I've been doing nonstop homework and tests. This break would help me."

"Is this really what you want?" Soobin nodded. "Okay... I'm sorry for trying to talk you out of it."

"It's okay. I understand."

"Soobin... promise me you'll stay by my side until the very end, okay? I love you... a lot."

Soobin looked at him in confusion and shook his head. "Of course. I promise to stay with you until the very end."

He hovered over Taehyun to kiss him, making the younger boy giggle and hold his face in his hands.

"It's a little cold. Can we go to my house and-" Taehyun bit his lip and looked away, making Soobin cup his chin in his hand to get him to look at him.

"And what Baby?"

"I'm r-ready."

Soobin nodded and gently kissed him again before standing up to pack all their stuff up. Taehyun was blushing the entire way back in the car, walking shyly up to the house and unlocking the door.

As soon as they were inside, Soobin grabbed him and started kissing his neck, pushing him upstairs to his bedroom. He laid Taehyun on the bed, slowly taking the boy's clothes off, and started kissing his body.

*An hour later*

Soobin was gentle, unsurprisingly, going slowly the entire time. And he kept asking for consent to do anything, which got on Taehyun's nerves after a while.

But he knew Soobin was nervous when it came to doing something that could hurt him. So it literally took Soobin nearly forty-five minutes to be done making sure Taehyun was prepped, hydrated, and comfortable enough.

He did stop being annoyed by it after a little bit upon realizing that it just meant Soobin cared about him way too much to hurt him.

And that made him more endearing to Taehyun.
