"And you tilt his head at the right angle."

Mrs. Kang was gonna hire a nurse to take care of Taehyun at home because she was busy, but Soobin begged her not to. He promised to help take care of Taehyun, but he didn't want a stranger in the house doing it.

The other three were also there as the nurse from the hospital taught them all how to feed him and take care of him.

When she left, so did the other three, but Soobin stayed to help Taehyun's mom make dinner for herself and her husband.

"I can't believe he found someone like you," she said, shaking her head. "How can he be so lucky?"

He raised his eyebrows. "What do you mean?"

"Well when Taehyun started playing sports I thought he would grow up to be one of those... just a horrible person to other students. He's handsome, wealthy, and a jock. That basically describes the popular bad guy. And he might've turned out that way if it wasn't for him meeting the kind, handsome president of student council."

He smiled softly and nodded. "Well, thank you for the compliment?" They both started laughing and continued making dinner until Taehyun's dad got home.

"Hey Soobin," he said, setting groceries on the counter. "What are you doing here?"

"The nurse was teaching him and his friends everything. Soobin will help a lot," his mom answered.

Mr. Kang nodded and walked away to Taehyun's room with Soobin following, wanting so see his boyfriend's gorgeous face again.

Sometimes he looked in the locket instead though. It was easier looking at the Taehyun in the picture rather than the broken one.

"You treat him well, don't you?" Mr. Kang asked, pulling the blanket up to Taehyun's chin.

"I mean... I think I do."

"Soobin, you know I've always liked you. And I've explained to you that I lived in a really Christian household so this is all really-"

"-weird to you. I know. Thank you for trying to understand though. Taehyun has told me that that means a lot to him."

Taehyun's father nodded and looked around, tilting his head at the endless posters of BTS, EXO, and SHINee on the walls.

"I never noticed those. Guess I know why he never let me in his room."

Soobin laughed and looked around too.

"Yup. He loves his shirtless EXO posters."

Mr. Kang's eyes widened and Soobin ran out laughing to go hide behind Mrs. Kang who was scrolling on her phone.

After a while of laughing and talking, the three of them sat at the dinner table and ate.

"Your parents are okay with you staying over here?" Mr. Kang asked.

"Taehyun and I are both adults. My parents don't really care," he chuckled, excusing himself to go eat the rest of his food in Taehyun's room.

They always ate in one of their rooms to talk privately.

"I'm going back to school tomorrow," he said, gently holding Taehyun's small hand in his large one. "I haven't gone in the last week. One of the reasons is because I'm scared to face everyone. I don't know what they'll do. And it sucks because I haven't been focusing on school a lot lately, and if you were here right now, you would call me a hypocrite. I've realized that I haven't been happy with anyone else but your parents. Maybe it's because they remind me a lot of you."

He bit his lip and set his plate on Taehyun's desk, seeing textbooks upon textbooks stacked on it. He then plugged his phone in, set an alarm for 6 a.m., and made himself comfortable in the bean bag chair on Taehyun's floor.

While laying there, he remembered Taehyun's mom calling him lucky earlier.

How was Soobin good enough that Taehyun was "lucky"? Taehyun was in a coma right now, and she called him lucky?
