"You remember when you started wearing skirts whenever you wanted sex because you realized it turned me on?" Soobin asked, giggling while holding Taehyun's hand. "It only happened for a couple months before..."

His smile faded and he looked out the window at the dark night.

It was getting harder. Five months have passed now, and his friends already moved to Busan just a couple weeks ago.

Although, it was kind of okay.

He basically moved in with Taehyun at this point, and now he didn't have to worry about people constantly telling him to get out of the house.

But he was starting work at his parents' clothes company the next week, so that would take some of his time with Taehyun away. He knew that was kind of a good thing. Like he knew he shouldn't spend all of his time in this room, as much as he wanted to.

He knew being in here also made him sadder, and this job would distract him enough from the pain.

"I'm going to Busan tomorrow," he said. "For Kai's birthday. I'm sure it'll be fun, but kind of awkward since I haven't seem them in a little while." Someone knocked on the front door and he tilted his head.

Taehyun's parents weren't home and he didn't think they were expecting any visitors. But he got up and went to answer the door despite a voice in the back of his mind telling him not to.

But he realized it was okay and his mind was just nervous for nothing.

At the door was just a short Australian boy holding a Tupperware container full of brownies.

"Um... hey Soobin. I don't know if you remember me? I'm Felix, from your graduation. Jeongin just recently told me where Taehyun lives since apparently he's dating someone who was on the baseball team. So Jeongin found out where he lives from his boyfriend. Hi."

"Um... hi? I wasn't expecting anyone to come over this late."

"Oh, this is a bad time? I'm sorry. I'll go. But I made brownies in case you want some."

He held up the container with a big smile on his face and Soobin chuckled a little bit.

"No, it's fine. You can come inside if you want. It's just that I'm driving out to Busan tomorrow so I have to get to bed early tonight."

He let him inside and Felix nodded. "Well, I wont stay for long. I just wanted to see if you and Taehyun are alright."

"Okay. I appreciate that, but I'm a stranger. Why do you really care?"

Felix's eyes widened. "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to come off as nosey. It's just that when you told me all that, it made me feel... inclined to make sure you were okay. It seems like no one else is really helping you."

Soobin tilted his head.

He was being nosey.

But he was nice.

"Um... yeah, I'm fine. Thank you for your concern."

"You're welcome. I don't wanna like... say I'm nice in case you think I'm not. But I consider myself as a kind person.  I just worry a lot about other people."

"I guess that's a good trait to have," Soobin said, gesturing for him to follow him to Taehyun's room.

When Felix entered, he widened his eyes. It was clean, K-Pop posters covering the walls, and the atmosphere was somehow happy.

Maybe that was because of Soobin's way to somehow stay happy when in this room.

"I've been taking care of him and cleaning up the house while his parents are out of town. I guess it's kind of how I keep myself busy," he chuckled, picking up his jacket from the floor and putting it on the back of the chair he normally sat in.

Felix stopped looking around to look at him with complete adoration.

"You mean... you're twenty years old, you just graduated with numerous scholarships, but you're staying here to take care of him? Even though his parents can hire nurses?"

"I told you this when we first met."

"I know, I know. And I seriously respect your decision to stay. But I didn't know it was so bad that it was taking all your time away from other things. I was only saying that because it's really honorable of you."

"How?"

"You're literally putting your life on hold to ensure your boyfriend will be able to live the rest of his life too. That's so fucking cool of you. I wish I had someone who cared about me that much."

He smiled at Soobin who shrugged.

"It's not a big deal."

"Yeah, it's not a big deal. You're just... learning how to take care of him even though a nurse can do that. You can go out to start your own life, but you're waiting until he wakes up so you can share it with him. You're doing everything for him, but yeah, it's not a big deal."

Soobin's eyes widened and he watched him walk out, soon hearing a car pulling out of the driveway.

What the heck?
