"Drive safe, okay?" Soobin's mom said, kissing his forehead as he took his bags and suitcase.
"I know. I'll see you in a few days," he smiled, hugging her before walking out.
He was going to a tour at Pusan National University in Busan. He wasn't planning on going this year as he was taking his break to go with Taehyun next year, but Beomgyu wanted to go to this school, Yeonjun was planning on switching over, and Kai wanted to go there too.
Most of them wanted to go just because of how the place looked and that they wanted to go with their best friends.
Soobin got in his car and drove to Beomgyu's house first since it was the closest.
"I'm still upset that you're not gonna be there with me," Beomgyu said after putting his stuff in the trunk. "I'll be all alone in my first year of college."
"But Yeonjun might be there."
"But Yeonjun will be in his second year. I won't have any classes with him..." he sighed and looked out the window. "Can we get McDonald's?"
"I packed food."
"You're rich though. Can we get McDonald's?"
"Ask Yeonjun or Kai to. I'm driving all of you across the country. The least you can do is buy your own food. Damn."
After they went to get Kai, they went to Yeonjun's house and him and Beomgyu started fighting.
"Just get in the backseat," Beomgyu groaned.
"No. I'm the oldest. I get to sit in the front."
"I was here first!"
"And I knew Soobin first."
Beomgyu looked at Soobin and the older sighed.
"Just get in the back Beomgyu."
"But-"
"Both of you get in the back or we're not going! Huening Kai, you sit in the front!" He yelled, making them all look at him with wide eyes.
They reluctantly listened to him anyways, and that meant Kai had control of the music. He had good taste in music.
"Yeonjun, can you buy us McDonald's?" Beomgyu asked.
"Yeah..."
Kai started giggling. They were like two siblings who fought and then asked the other one if they wanted to get food later.
So Yeonjun finally got them McDonald's and they started driving to Busan.
It was a long and tiring drive and they were only an hour out.
Taehyun's wrong. Me leaving to go to Busan wouldn't be okay. He would never be able to do this drive over and over again, Soobin thought, slamming on his breaks and making them all scream.
"What is it?!" Yeonjun yelled.
He saw a vision of Taehyun laying in the street staring at them.
"Something's wrong," he said, pulling out his phone.
"What?" Beomgyu asked.
He looked for any news, gasping when he saw a weather report saying a large tornado was heading for Seoul.
"There's a tornado. We need to go back." He quickly turned around, speeding down the road and making them all start panicking.
On the way back, Kai had his phone on, checking the direction of it, and the further into Seoul they got, the worse the horrible thunderstorm got.
"I'll drop you guys off at your houses. I'm going to go to Taehyun's," Soobin said, about to turn onto Beomgyu's street.
"No, we'll go with you. We're all friends, all five of us. We need to stay together." Soobin looked back at Beomgyu, nodding before heading to Taehyun's house instead.
It seemed like everything was okay, so Soobin knocked on the door, squinting his eyes from the heavy rain and dark sky.
"Soobin!" Taehyun's mom gasped, letting them all inside. "I thought you guys were going to Busan!"
"Soobin somehow knew something was wrong," Yeonjun said, jumping at the loud sound of thunder.
"Help yourselves to any food. I'll go get you guys some dry clothes," she said before going to the laundry room.
"Hey Taehyun," Soobin smiled, closing the boy's bedroom door. "Everybody's here. There's a bad storm outside." He sat in the chair next to Taehyun's bed and looked at his cast on his broken right arm, confusion running in his mind. "Who wrote that?" He quickly stood up and went to find Taehyun's mom. "Hey, did anyone come here to see Taehyun after I left this morning?"
"Yeah..." she said, taking laundry out of the dryer. "A boy from your school. He said to tell you and Beomgyu he said hi."
Soobin bit his lip, anger running through his veins, and he went to the kitchen to get a red pen.
"What are you all angry about?" Yeonjun asked.
"Nothing. Just leave me alone," he said, going to Taehyun's room and shutting the door again. "I'll kill him if he ever touches you again." He opened the pen, scribbling the letter 'V' over the 'S' in 'LOSER'. "You're not a fucking loser."
He dropped the pen and took a deep breath, realizing what he said.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get so angry," he sighed, kissing Taehyun's forehead. "I know you don't like it when I'm angry." He sat on the edge of the bed and brushed Taehyun's hair out of his eyes, smiling softly at him. "My beautiful boy."
He looked away and thought for a moment before leaning in and gently kissing Taehyun's lips.
He wished it was a fairytale where he could wake Taehyun up just by kissing him, but unfortunately, this was real life. He laid his head on Taehyun's chest and hugged him, closing his eyes as the rain continued banging against the window and the wind heavily picked up.
