"I will entrust the safety of my daughter to you, Sangria. Since you're now an official student, you must follow and protect her for me while I'm away." Sambit ni Lucy habang sinesenyasan ang dalawang guards na mauna na. They bowed respectfully as a response, carrying Lucy's luggage out of her room.

I quietly stood behind, watching Lucy through the mirror. She's currently sitting on the chair infront of her exquisite vanity mirror. There are four helpers at her side. The two were responsible for fixing her hair and putting make-up on her face while the rest were busy arranging her clothes, shoes and accessories.

"I understand, Your Majesty. If it's okay, can I ask why you're not taking me with you? As your personal guard, how can I do my job to protect you?" I spoke respectfully, forcing myself to look concerned. I saw how her movements stiffened. Nagsalubong ang aming mga mata sa salamin at nakita ko ang kanyang pagngiti na tila pinaparating sa akin na hindi ko na kailangang mag-alala.

Sinenyasan niya ang apat na helpers at tulad kanina ay agad silang yumuko at naglakad palabas ng pinto. Lucy stood up and she turned around to face me. Marahan niyang hinawakan ang magkabilang balikat ko gamit ang mga kamay niyang kay sarap putulin.

"I will be gone for the whole week to attend some business and I'll take a few top guards with me. Don't worry and train harder for the future, okay? After all, our enemies are stronger than you think." Her expression darkened as she mentioned the last sentence.

"How about the the two monsters down the basement, Empress? Let me kill them," Those merciless words escaped my mouth without a single fluctuation on my expression. Diretso akong tumitig sa mga mata ni Lucy, dahilan upang malinaw kong masaksihan ang kanyang pagkabigla. Ramdam ko ang pagdiin ng kanyang hawak sa akin.

Hah.

I grinned inwardly as I saw the different changes of her facial expressions. Her eyes were unfocused for a moment. It seemed like my words peeled a layer of her thick disguise.

She then took a deep breath and stared at me with a wide smile. "Let's not act rash, Sangria. Don't worry,  I've always been taking precautionary measures against them. The mistress' power is restrained for years and her strength is decreasing. It's just a matter of course before we'll be able to kill her," A malicious gleam flitted through her eyes as her lips formed a crazy smile. Precautionary measures eh? If you dare to touch my mother, blood will splash over your beloved palace.

I remain unmoved in the surface but my fingers were already trembling from suppressing my intense desire to kill her. Bloody images of Lucy poured my mind like huge waves crashing through the shore.

I'm thirsty for bloodshed yet I managed to mask it with a delightful smile. "You are so great, Your Majesty. I believe you already have plans for them. May I ask if you also did the same to the illegitimate daughter?"

She sneered. "That impudent brat killed all the assistants I allocated underground, I cared for her well-being but all she did was trouble!"

"Do you want me to discipline her?" A sharp glint flickered in my eyes for a split second.

Lucy faked a cough. "She's still a kid so I'll be lenient to her and leave her for a while. Don't worry, I have guards watching her. Be patient and wait for my command, Sangria. I have my ways to discipline her." She smirked.

You want to discipline me? Go on then, I'm looking forward to it.

Nakarinig ako ng pagkatok sa pinto. "Your Majesty, it's time to go. The car is ready." I heard West's voice.
