"The little wolf is finally biting, hmm?" The corner of his lips quirked up, his deep voice was somewhat raspy.

Taking in his playful expression, my mind felt blank for a second. How come he's not mad? I really thought he'll break my bones the moment I finished speaking.

"It seems like you are the type to bark a lot, not daring to bite at all."

I then recalled his words earlier and confirmed that he's really pertaining to me. But what's with the little wolf? It looks like he really hated it when I joined Lemuel's team. That's only a verbal agreement though. It's not like I signed a contract or something. I can get out of that team whenever I want to but not for now. I still haven't play with them yet.

Since he is not angry, let's see when that short patience of his reaches its end. I'll make sure to annoy him before the class period ends.

"Wolves don't bark a lot, Captain. They bite until blood flows out of your veins and flesh rips out of your skin. Disfigured and unrecognizable." I retaliated with a menacing tone, tightening my grip on the metal I used earlier to smash his fireball.

Hindi siya natinag. Ang kanyang ngisi ay may kasamang panunuya. "Right, and wolves don't do complicated tree-climbing stunts so skillfully. Seeing your performance back then, I think you are more fitting to be a monkey,"

I laughed softly as a response, cursing the old geezer in my mind for making me a part of his entertainment show. I'll make sure to beat him later in the afternoon.

"Don't say that, Captain. You make it seem like you want me to climb you." With that, my lips lifted into a flirty smile.

Just as I expected, his eyes instantly darkened. Akala ko ay aatake na siya ngunit nagkamali nanaman ako. He just stood there and said, "Try me, little monkey." He even made an inviting gesture as if he's challenging me to approach, looking somewhat seductive.

I smirked. With a swift and fast turn, I violently threw the metal I'm gripping towards Captain's direction. Hindi ako nagsayang ng oras at mabilis na tumakbo patungo sa kinatatayuan niya. After making sure that the metal was enough to cover my figure, I bent my body, sliding smoothly past his blind spot.

In a brief second, I was already positioned behind him. I executed all of my moves without an ounce of hesitation, lifting my right hand to hit his nape. Kasabay ng pag-angat ng kamay ko ay ang pagtunog ng handcuffs na balak kong ihampas sa kanyang batok.

The sound of chains betrayed me. In the next second, Captain already noticed my presence. Mabilis niyang sinapo ang hinagis ko sabay ikot at bato nito pabalik sa akin. Damn it.

I jumped high, stepping onto the piece of metal. I then flipped in the air, landing steadily on the ground.

"Still sneaky as always." Saktong pag-angat ko ng aking mukha ay ang mabilis niyang pagkawala mula sa kanyang pwesto. His figure flashed towards me. Sa isang iglap ay naramdaman ko ang mainit niyang palad na mahigpit na nakahawak sa aking braso. He twisted it at my back, making me still. I rolled my eyes. Why am I not surprised?

"Still harsh as always." I replied while his hot breath sprayed at my nape. Halos nakalapat na ang aking likod sa kanyang katawan.

"I am, indeed. Can you do anything about it?" He whispered in my ear, humour audible in his deep manly voice. I can feel my heart beating faster than usual. I must've overexerted my body with that flip.

"Friends should be kind and understanding with each other. No need to resort to violence, don't you think so?" I escaped his grip, turning around to face him. Dahil doon ay muntik nang dumikit ang kanyang labi sa aking noo. I glanced up to him only to be met by his dark eyes.
