"What the hell, Fabio?" My dear twin cursed while checking her face infront of a small mirror. I ran a hand through my hair, laughing at her priceless reaction.

"Get your ass over here! I promise not to kill you," Matalim niya akong tinitigan mula sa salamin ngunit imbis na matakot ay mas lalo pa akong humagalpak sa tawa.

I spread my hands midair, shrugging innocently. "What? It suits you perfectly."

She scoffed, her face was red from anger. "You bastar--"

"No need to thank me, little sis. I'm just doing my duty as your caring brother. You don't have to blush so hard." I said shamelessly, my lips trembled from stifling a laugh.

"SINONG NAGSABI SAYONG BABUYIN MO ANG MUKHA KO HA?! I'M GONNA KILL YOU! YOU BASTARD!" My eyes narrowed from her loud shout. Nang makita ko siyang pumapadyak papunta sa akin ay agad kong hinarang ang braso ko sa aking harapan bilang panabla.

Natatawa kong pinanood ang kanyang mukha na puno ng tinta ng marker. I just drew a thick line to connect her eyebrows. Nagdagdag din ako ng pekeng bigote at balbas, dahilan upang mag mukha siyang bading.

"I'LL KILL Y--"

"Yo, guys!!! Breaking news! Breaking news!" Fabia's words halted and we both turned our heads to look at the door.

Nakahinga ako ng maluwag dahil sa pagdating ni Eldian na dire-diretsong pumunta sa amin. I smoothly made my way towards him, escaping from a huge 'threat'.

"Yo, man." Inakbayan ko siya.

"Shut your useless mouth, Eldian." Irap ni Fabia na tumungo sa couch upang maupo.

"You're a lifesaver, man." Bulong ko kay Eldian habang tinatapik ang kanyang balikat. "Huh?" Nalilito niyang saad ngunit inilingan ko lamang siya.

"What news?" I then asked, shifting his attention. Naglakad ako palapit sa isang drawer upang kumuha ng wet wipes. "Here." I tossed it towards Fabia and she hissed at me in return. Nagkibit balikat na lamang ako at umupo sa isa pang couch.

"Don't you dare speak nonsense, Eldian. It's so hot today." Mataray na saad ni Fabia.

"I think the weather's really good. Ahh, naalala ko tuloy nung una ko kayong nakita...." He started reminiscing about our first meeting. He kept on blabbering about random topics, which made me yawn. Here he is again with his storytelling...

Alam kong mahaba pa ang kwento niya kaya naghanap ako ng pwedeng pagka-abalahan. I saw a half-empty water bottle and grabbed it. I unscrewed the lid and drank a few more before closing it tightly.

"Hahaha! Yo! That was funny, right?" Eldian laughed, settling himself on the floor. Nakalagay ang espada niya sa sahig at maingat niya itong pinupunasan. I just hummed and laughed along with him, totally clueless about what we're laughing at. I was completely focused on flipping the bottle above the table.

"That's not the least bit funny." Fabia commented while holding onto her mirror and wiping her face.

Ten minutes had passed and nothing really happened. Fabia was still wiping her face hardly, making it even worse than before. Meanwhile, I kept on flipping the bottle, but it did not even stand, not even once that it frustrated me to death. Eldian was still chattering...and we still haven't heard the 'breaking news' he was saying earlier.

"When I was young, I raised a cat named Happy...."

Inis kong hinagis ang bote sa basurahan. What a lame bottle.
