I roamed my eyes around my new room. I'm inspecting it to see if there's something strange. Napangiti ako nang makitang walang kakaiba sa kwarto. Indeed, Lucy is extremely stupid. Sinabi ko lang na may galit ako sa Darah clan ay napaniwala na siya agad.

"Perfect." I began changing my clothes into the royal guards' uniform. Hindi ko na ginalaw ang buhok ko dahil hindi naman ako sanay magayos.

I gazed at my reflection at the full length mirror infront of me. My hair was already turned into a messy bun, my face appeared more approachable and warm because of the chestnut brown contact lenses that I wore. Naiba lang ang kulay ng mga mata ko pero parang ang laki ng pinagbago ng presensya ko.

My natural hooded eyes and scarlet red eyes were perfectly balanced which made me look like a demoness, ngunit tuluyan na iyong naglaho.

The chestnut brown lenses made my hooded eyes look innocent. Nagmukha akong anghel. It made me cringe a little but I decided to forget it. This is a perfect disguise.

Lumabas na ako ng kwarto at naglakad muli patungo sa chamber ni Lucy. Well, this is my duty as her personal guard. Kumatok ako sa kanyang pinto ngunit walang sumagot.

"What did you say?!" Rinig ko ang impit na sigaw ni Lucy. Kumatok muli ako ng mas malakas.

"Come in!" She shouted from irritation. Pagkapasok ko ay nakita ko si West na nakatalikod sa akin at kausap si Lucy. Sabay silang lumingon sa akin. Nakita ko ang bahagyang paglaki ng mata ni West habang si Lucy ay agad napangiti nang makita ako.

"Sangria! This is Chief Harris. Siya ang namumuno sa lahat ng guards dito. Chief Harris, this is Sangria. I know you are shocked but I hired her as my personal guard. You should tour her around the palace later, Chief." Pagpapakilala niya sa akin. Lumapit ako sa kanila at nagbow.

"I hope we get along, Chief Harris." I smiled at him. Ngumiti rin siya pabalik at huminga ng malalim. He must be relieved dahil naging successful ang plano ko.

"Ulitin mo ang report mo, chief. Sangria, you must listen carefully and remember what he'll say, alright?" Tumango ako at ibinaling ang tingin kay West. He must be reporting about what I did earlier to my assistant.

"Empress Lucy assigned an assistant underground to serve Roen, a young lady from Darah clan. Unfortunately, she's already dead. Roen killed her assistant for touching her ruby locket which originally belongs to Empress Lucy. Walang awa niya itong pinatay." West explained. Bravo. The true story completely changed huh? How great Lucy.

I furrowed my brows and clenched my jaw. Kinuyom ko pa ang kamao ko para mas kapani paniwala. I acted like I'm really holding a grudge towards the Darah clan.

"I despise them." I said with a low voice. I despise you.

"Sinira rin nila ang buhay ko, Sangria. Roen's mother seduced my husband at nagbunga iyon! I was so hurt back then at lagi pa kong inaalipusta ng kabit na yon! I don't know what happened dahil bigla na lang ikinulong ni Zandrick sa underground ang kabit niyang buntis. Akala ko magiging masaya na ko pero hindi. I realized that I'm extremely soft hearted kaya kinumbinsi ko ang asawa kong magpadala man lang ng helpers at guards sa baba. Binigyan ko sila ng komportableng kama at lahat ng kailangan nila binigay ko rin." Maluha luhang pagkwento ni Lucy.

Hah! I almost scoffed from disgust. Pinagmukha niya ang sarili niyang biktima sa lahat ng nangyari. She completely twisted everything. No wonder my father did everything she wanted. He gave everything to this disgusting old bitch. I badly want to torture her.
