"No cuz you play too much." I said kissing Dinah my managers neck.

"I'm forreal how they want me to sign a contract with a man that's in jail I'm not a lawyer I don't work with in jail clients." Dinah spoke laying on my chest.

We were a couple but that was private we been together three going on four years. She had my back since I stepped into the league she been here ever since.

"How the therapy going?" Dinah asked.

"She hella unprofessional she don't do her job the way a actual therapist is supposed too but that make her different and she quick in her recovery plans." I spoke changing the Netflix show to Good girls.

"Noo go to Hulu the new season there." Dinah spoke I shook my head.

"I know it is but I like rewatching season one and two I hate Beth with everything in me she keep dawging my nigga Rio and in season 4 he gone sit there and give that bitch a lil sum sum." I shook my head in disappointment.

"So why watch it at all?" Dinah asked looking up at me.

"Cuz they a sexy ass toxic couple." I spoke playing season one episode one.

"You stupid." Dinah spoke lightly slapping my chest

We watched the show till around episode five when I heard the door being opened downstairs.

I panicked not knowing who it could be.

I was too late to grab anything so the door to my bedroom opened and a shocked Shy stood in the doorway.

"Ohh okay." She spoke walking into the room further.

"So instead of calling your mom to make sure you do your stretches and remain healthy ur having sex with your manager?" She asked.

You could tell she felt betrayed and lied too because her voice carried with disbelief.

"She's my girlfriend and my fault for not doing what I was supposed to do but..."

"But nothing you are his worker you work for him know your place and get out." Dinah spoke cutting me off and pointing to the door so Shy would leave.

"Don't talk to me like that I'm a human I'm not just a object you can push around." Shy said frowning at Dinah.

Shy truly did live up to her name she wasn't outspoken or rude unless she was on her period or you pissed her off so hearing how sad she was because of Dinah made me feel bad.

"Bitch get out!" Dinah snapped stepping out the bed.

"Aye stop sit your ass down and stop being mean matter fact go home I'll talk to you tomorrow." I spoke kissing her on her forehead passing her phone and car keys.

Dinah sucked her teeth before bumping pass Shy and leaving my home.

"How was your date with Terez cuz you home rea early?" I asked her trying to ignore her upset face.

"I am early because I wanted to make sure you were okay I am your physical therapist it's my job to ensure your safety but I can see that I can't trust you anymore." She spoke about to walk out of my room.

"Wait it's not even like that Dinah my girl Ian even go public with her yet and me and her been together for a minute Ian wanna tell you she was coming over it would've risked our privacy." I admitted trying to find ways to reassure Shy.

"I understand that but I just saw you two in bed a minute ago and I did not pick up a phone and call the media that alone should show you I don't risk privacy." She spoke logically stating her point perfectly.

"Okay Shy fine I'll take this one to the gut but at least tell me how your date with Terez went?" I asked noticing her start to smile slightly.

"I admit I thought he was a player with good looks but he has actual personality to him we went to the museum he figured because I wasn't from America that I should see the history this country went through it was really cool and thoughtful." She spoke smiling.

"Well that's cool so y'all going out again?" I asked looking for some decent clothes to wear.

"Uh well I was going to but your untrustworthy so probably not I need to be here making sure you doing your practices." She spoke going into my bathroom taking off her heels.

"Why you using my bathroom?" I asked confused.

"My bathroom has this big spider just sitting in a corner of my shower and I honestly fear for my life and you said the other bathrooms were under renovation." She said peeking from the door before.

"Oh okay but your room not infested right?" I asked hearing the shower water turn on.

"No it's fine." She spoke.

I laid in my bed watching One Piece for about an hour.

I turned to my phone hearing it ding before I noticed Shy walking out of the bathroom with a simple white towel and wet hair that dropped onto my carpet

Her legs were still slightly wet with little water drops sliding down to her white painted toes.

It was then that I noticed her ankle tat it had Chinese words written with little butterflies around it.

"Okay well sleep tight Karter." Shy spoke walking out of my room closing my door before going to her room.

I didn't write a thousand to two thousand words as usual but be happy it got updated!
