It was late at night, and Izuku was out as Static. Halfway through the school year, and Izuku couldn't be happier with some of the outcomes of his changes. No more All for One, no Shigaraki, no Dabi. And he was still friends with Kacchan! All good things in his book.

He was on his way back home from meeting with Aizawa in an area he only very occasionally went by, when he heard a quiet sniffle.

Izuku stilled, unsure if he had in fact heard it, when it sounded again.

And who was Izuku to ignore someone in need?

Hisashi's eyes flew open. 2AM again. If it was another cat, he'd have to give Izuku his Disappointed Dad stare. It always worked.

With a sigh, he stood, and made his way out to the kitchen. Idly he noted that whatever his son had brought home had a Quirk. He'd still be getting The Stare, but Hisashi supposed the severity could be lessened, depending on the Quirk.

As he neared the kitchen, Hisashi could make out faint voices. An animal that could talk? Rare, but he supposed if Nezu existed then more like him could, too. One was definitely his son, but the other was definitely feminine sounding. And around Izuku's age.

"I'm sure it'll be fine. Everyone here is really nice!"

"Thank you Izu-chan," The unknown voice was croaky, like they had recently been crying, "You're the best kind of person."

"It's not a problem at all! I wouldn't be doing a very good job if I had just left you there."

Finally deciding to see what was inhabiting his kitchen, Hisashi entered, only to pause. He blinked. What.

"Izuku," His son blinked up at him innocently, while their guest almost shrunk in on themself, "What do you have there?"

"A smoothie." Well, he wasn't wrong, technically, "Two smoothies."

"I see that," Hisashi wanted to go to bed, really, "I mean: Who is this?"

"This is Toga Himiko," That name rang a bell, but where had Hisashi heard that name before? "I found her alone in the park. She ran away because her parents didn't like her Quirk."

Hisashi raised a brow at his son, prompting an explanation. He brightened, always excited to talk Quirks. "When she drinks someone's blood she can take on their appearance for a bit! She might even be able to use their Quirks after some training. It's so cool!" And useful. Very useful. Hisashi could think of several ways to use it without much thought.

"And why did you bring her home?" The million yen question.

"I was hoping you or Mum would be able to help her! Either by suing her parents into the ground, or by forging her some papers and getting her a better life."

Hisashi sighed. Too much effort for 2AM and no coffee. "Ask again in the morning. She can have one of the spare rooms."

"Thank you!"

"Izuku, who is this?" Tenko was confused. Who...?

His brother smiled at him, handing a smoothie to the guest. "This is Himiko! Himiko, this is my brother Tenko."

The smile the girl sported was both a little manic, yet a little shy. The hairs on Tenko's arms stood on end.

"It's good to meet you Ten-chan!" Ten-chan? "Your eyes are super pretty- like blood!"

Aaaand Tenko wasn't going to touch that with an eight meter pole. "...Right. Well," Shifting his attention back to his little brother, he resisted the urge to sigh, "Don't forget you have school too."
