Hero conventions, no matter the timeline, will always be one of Izuku's favourite places to go. It doesn't matter if he's there as a civilian or as a a hero: conventions are his favourite.
And getting into one for free as his father's guest just makes things even better.
"Dad! Dad! It's Hawks! He only just debuted this year but he's already in the Top 10! And look! It's Ryukyu!"
"I need to get to my meet and greet, but you're more than capable enough to walk around yourself. Here's some cash, meet me at the hero cafe in two hours." And with that, Izuku was left with way too much money for a 12 year old at HeroCon. Way too much.
Naturally, the first thing Izuku did was gather autographs and ask as many questions as he could to all the heroes he could see, but he soon found himself in the artists booths.
The amount of Musketeer art and knickknacks Izuku found was astounding. There was almost as much as there was All Might! (And, Izuku noticed, there was a fair amount of underground heroes too. He may or may not have bought a few Eraserhead posters, key chains, and plushies. And maybe a scarf and goggle pair as well.)
What really got Izuku vibrating, was the poster he found that had both All Might and Musketeer. Both! He bought it, of course. Prime teasing material. (And a spare as well, just in case the original mysteriously went missing.)
As he came to a stop to browse a stall that was exclusively Musketeer, he accidentally walked into someone his age.
"I'm sorry! I wasn't paying attention. Are you alright?" He asked the blond.
"Of course! How could I begrudge a fellow Musketeer fan like myself?" Steel grey eyes met widening green. "Oh? Aren't you that child he saved in Hokkaido a few years ago? I'd recognize those curls anywhere."
"U-um, yes." Izuku tilted his head. "I'm surprised you could recognize me on the spot." Even after all this time, Izuku could recognize the kid in front of him.
"But of course! I've memorized everything about Musketeer's most famous exploits, as well as many of his lesser known activities. How could I not appreciate someone with seemingly such a similar quirk to my own? Ah! How rude of me. I'm Monoma Neito."
"Midoriya Izuku." Izuku placed out his hand to meet Nei-Monoma's outstretched one.
"It's unfortunate I couldn't get into his meet and greet," Monoma turned back to browsing the wares, "I've been wanting to meet Musketeer for years. I was lucky enough to get my ticket to his first ever convention. He's never been one to go to these before, so I wonder why he started now?"
"Ah, he's never liked the convention scene. Too crowded, too many hero worshipers. I think he's also had bad past experiences with them? Not to sure on that ne, but he doesn't really like talking about his early past. Which is understandable, really. He'd also rather spend the day on patrol or on cases when so many other heroes are preoccupied. 'Filling in the gaps', he called it."
Monoma blinked at him, furrowing his brows. "You sound as though you know him personally."
Whoops. Ah well, it's just Monoma, right? The sales clerk is talking with someone else. "Yeah, he's my father."
"Your-!" Quick as a flash, Monoma had his hands on Izuku's shoulders, staring at him intensely. "You can't be- But- Though you do kind of- Oh my-"
Deciding to help him through the shock, Izuku smiled at him. "Yup! Though I trust you won't go spreading that around? I can hold my own in a fight and my brother's in UA, but my mother isn't exactly a combatant." A serious nod of his head, and Monoma leaned forwards.
"So you'll be going to UA too? It would be an honor to share a classroom with you."
"W-well, that's the plan. Say, Monoma, which middle school are you going to? It would be good to have another hero-fan around. Ah, but maybe cool it on the fanaticism a bit?" Sue him, he missed his friend.
"Of course, of course," He went back to looking at the posters and rich-kid-sniffed, "I'll be attending Musutafu Private Junior High starting this coming school year."
"Oh! My friends and I will all be going there too!"
Izuku blinked. This was probably the first time he had seen a starstruck look on Monoma's face. "I get to be in the same school as his kid..." He breathed in awe. Is... is that what Izuku sounded like when he talked to All Might those first few months? Surely not. "Here!" His musing were cut short with a phone being thrust into his face. "Add your number please!"
He took the phone and added his contact, sending a message to himself while he was at it. Sending a response immediately, he noticed that he needed to get to the cafe ASAP.
"Shit, sorry Monoma. I gotta go. I'll see you later though!"
"Of course! I shall see you at school!"
Naturally, being a couple minute late left his father lifting a questioning eyebrow. Izuku just smiled back.
"I met a friend again. And you would not believe who his favourite hero is."
Walking into a middle school that wasn't Aldera was, honestly, a relief. Izuku had friends(!), and he wasn't Quirkless this time! (Well, known as Quirkless.) Izuku had a good feeling about the next few years. He'll be getting the middle school experience that he was denied last time, Katsuki at his side, and a bright future ahead.
He was ready.
"Izuku! Hurry or we'll be late!"
"Coming Toshi!"
"Seriously Zuku, hurry up!"
"Don't rush him Katsuki. Anyone would be awed at the size of the school."
"It's ok Shouto! This school has nothing on UA."
"It's good to see you made it, Midoriya."
"You too Monoma!"
Yeah, it'll be much better than last time.

Birthday: March 9th
Height: 175cm
Blood type: A
Quirk: Somnambulist
Kayama can put nearby people to sleep by exuding a sleep-inducing aroma from her body. Her Quirk works better on males.
Kayama is very much the same in the new timeline as the old one, and still has an avid rivalry with Mt. Lady.
She warmed up to us all very quickly, which isn't very surprising, and acts as an aunt to most of us.
Taking on similar roles such as the hero name choosing and the hand-to-hand assistance, she also teaches lessons on disguises.
Surprisingly, she has a perfume brand this time, where in the last timeline she did not.
