One thing Izuku was not expecting was Kurogiri. Especially not Kurogiri being his babysitter. He really should stop being surprised by things.
"Hey Girigiri?" It was almost physically painful to call him that, but the act needed to stay. "How do you know Dad?"
Again, Izuku should stop being so surprised by everything, but Kurogiri somehow looked conflicted. He was mist, how could he look conflicted?? "We're...work associates."
"I get that but how did you two meet?"
"Uh..." Hisashi obviously didn't mention that Izuku knew all about his criminal enterprise. "I was hurt and your father helped me get better. He even made my Quirk better." Was the eventual response that came with a head pat. That felt weird.
"Is Girigiri better now?"
"If I wasn't then I wouldn't be here looking after you and little Tenko."
It was a Sunday in late March, and Hisashi had to deal with some finishing touches and paperwork for his new agency he'll be opening at the start of the school year. Inko was called in to work too, so the two brothers had to be looked after by someone else. And who better than a trusted, blindingly loyal warp gate who already had experience babysitting the less mature of the two?
They spent a few hours inside (Tenko was playing a new game of his while Izuku was updating his notebooks), but it was during lunch that Izuku thought of something chaotic. "Hey Girigiri."
Kurogiri looked up from his phone (he was texting Hisashi a cute picture of the two playing he took earlier). "Yes Izuku?"
"Can we go to the park? Or Kacchan's house? Or maybe even go to Kacchan's and then go to the park! What do you think Tennii?" Izuku would vehemently deny wanting to just spend time with Katsuki if anyone asked. He would also deny using Tenko as a surefire way to getting what he wanted. No one could deny two cute little kids making puppy dog eyes. Especially All for One.
Tenko looked a little uncomfortable at being put on the spot (he'd have to work on that confidence issue, but they had plenty of time). "Um, that sounds like fun. M-maybe we could - uh - exercise? Be ready for the classes we're going to, um, start in April. The fitter we are, the better we can do?" Perfect excuse. Thank the heavens for Tenko's admittedly shaky (but better than what Izuku could do until his middle school years) excuse.
Izuku beamed and turned back to Kurogiri. "Can we? Can we?"
Kurogiri looked torn. On one hand, he didn't want to deny them. But on the other hand, he didn't want harm to come to any of them. Whether that be from criminals looking for leverage against the boogeyman, or All for One for letting them roam free. Then again, if anything looked to be becoming dangerous, he could just warp them all away. "I'll ask your father." He finally relented.
Izuku threw his hands up with an excited "Yay!"
Hisashi was quick to give his assent, provided one of Bakugou's parents are also in attendance. Preferably Mitsuki, so that the boys are less likely to come to any harm. Hell hath no fury like a Bakugou, after all.
They rounded up the two loud Bakugou's and made it to the park, finding Hitoshi already there. When the three others found out Hitoshi couldn't join them for martial arts and parkour classes (they would have done gymnastics as well, but they needed some downtime), they elected for giving instruction in the park once or twice a week. It would also serve as extra practice for those who did take the classes.
It was about an hour into the park visit when out of the corner of his eye, Izuku saw a shock of white and red. He quickly turned to look, and sure enough, there was Todoroki Shouto in all his three year old glory. There also stood Todoroki Rei, Todoroki Fuyumi and Todoroki Natsuo. Izuku knew that the other brother Touya was still around though. He must be "training".
