"Maa Sidharth ajaye unse pooch lijiyega jaise voh kahenge vaise kar lenge",Sana said after a thinking session.
"Unmm aap bethiye please mein naa ek baar Yeh sab rakh doon akhon ke age dikhta hua chubh raha hai sara saman", she said looking around her house which was looking not less than a mess and her clean freak hands were itching to put the things back to their respective places.
"I will help you", Mrs. Shukla said getting up.
"Nahi maa aap bethiye just 10 minute dijiye mujhe", she said.
"Nahi baccha I will help you", Mrs. Shukla insisted.
"Haan apka honhaar beta ake bolega meri maa ko kaam pe laga diya", she said dramatically.
"Usko mein dekh lungi", Mrs. Shukla said getting up and walking upto kitchen.
Sana moved inside their bedroom and picked up all the things which she has dumped there previously as Baaz has brought a tones of things within himself obviously sent by her father as being the typical family to which she belongs to ladki ke ghar khali haath nahi jate. She kept the baskets of fruit in the corner of kitchen and clothings into the cupboard in an attempt to make space at the bed. Doorbell rang again gaining her attention and announcing the arrival of her husband making her sigh. She don't know what he is going to say about visiting his house. She herself don't know what she want whether she wants to go there or not. The salt which was spreaded a day before at her almost healing wounds was adding more to her dillema. But, if he says a yes she isn't going to deny it. Her husband has done a lot for her today Infact always he is being so considerate towards her, she can at least do this much for him. So, she took a deep breath and walked out to open the door for him not before peeping out from the key hole.
"Chodh aaye", she asked.
"Agya tu", Mrs. Shukla asked coming out from the kitchen as she helped her daughter in law in emptying the remnants of the things they have used for the ritual.
"Haan apko chodh ke aau", he asked.
"Nahi tum sath chal rahe ho dono", she announced.
"What, no", he frowned in denial.
"Yes", Mrs. Shukla retorted and Sana excused herself walking away not wanting to interfere.
Transpirancy and personal space are two different aspects of marriage. An husband and wife should have such a bond, such a understanding where they won't have to calculate their words before speaking, the conversations and talks should be free flowing. Most importantly, the secrets there shouldn't be a place for secrets to be kept. Time could be taken to open up but once that courtship period ends there shouldn't be secrets kept as they might cause damage, Hurt and misunderstanding. But, at the same time if they have an family involved personal space should be given more than required because more the people involved more the space needed. That's what she decided to do, she haven't walked away as she felt out of place or something that sort of stuff. It's just she felt the need for a mother and son to talk alone. If there would be something which she needed to be known he will tell her and if not then she is his mother, a wife comes later and a son has all the rights to share his heartfelt with his mother and his mother has the same right to make her child understand a few things along with teaching him a few lessons of life too.
"Sidharth baat ko samjhne ki koshish karo aise nahi hota your father is your family too and your wife is our family too. They both need to meet as well mein rehne ko nahi keh rahi hoon just pay him a visit at least with your wife. Voh tumhare baba hai Sidharth unhe janne ka haq hai ki unke bete ki zindagi mein kya ho raha hai. Mein manti hoon joh unhone kal bola voh thik nahi tha lekin iska Yeh matlab toh nahi hai na ki hum boycott kar de Infact kal unhone jaise behave kiya uska reason bhi tum jante ho. He isn't fully wrong here too",she explained.
