"Kase ahaat majhya mula", Mrs. Shukla asked while caressing his face.
"Thik hoon Infact acha hoon aai", he said smilingly while pecking his mother's hand which were caressing his cheeks.
"Chalo humein khushi hui jannkar ke hamare bete ne apne maa - baap ko iss qabil samjha ki voh humein apna haal bataye", Mr. Shukla mocked.
"Kya kar rahe hai Ashok ji hamara beta ek arse baad ghar aya hai voh bhi khushi se aur aap uspe tanz kas rahe hai", Mrs. Shukla scolded making Sidharth smirk at his poor father.
"Lekin-", Mr. Shukla was cut off by Mrs. Shukla.
"Apne ek shabd aur bola na toh hum apse ek hafta baat nahi karenge", Mrs. Shukla threatened.
"Aap-", Mr. Shukla tried to speak but was cut off by his wife again.
"Aap apni saza ka samaye badha rahe hai", Mrs. Shukla said with her arms crossed to her chest.
"Aap bahut galat kar rahi hai Yeh hum bata rahe hai", Mr. Shukla whined.
"I missed you both", Sidharth said hugging both of his parents together to his chest with glassy eyes.
"Humne bhi bahut miss kiya tujhe aur tujhse bhi zyada teri iss khushi ko", Mrs. Shukla said fondly.
"Apka beta itne din baad ghar aya hai kuch acha sa bana ke nahi khilayengi aap unhe", Mr. Shukla said.
"Arey haan Sidharth tu beith beta mein tera fav. Misal - Pav banake leke ati hoon", Mrs. Shukla said disappearing into the kitchen and silence prevailed in the living room where Sidharth and Mr. Shukla stood awkwardly.
"I am sorry baba", Sidharth whispered breaking the defending silence.
"Hnmm", Mr. Shukla just hummed in response quite unsure.
"Toh kon hai voh", Mr. Shukla asked after a while as they sat down at the couch in the living area.
"M.. Matlab", Sidharth asked in wonder.
"Beta apke zyada tazurba hai zindagi ka aap bhale hi humein iss qabil naa samajhte ho ki aap humein apni zindagi ke barein mein bataye lekin Yeh budhi akhein na chahte hue bhi chize dekh leti hai", Mr. Shukla said rather mocked.
"Baba ek ladki hai and i love her", Sidharth said knowing very well that it is meaningless to debate with his father in a argument.
"Oh! Good kitne time se aur iss baar konsi model hai aur breakup hone ke baad aapko rapist bolenge ya phir apne baap ke paiso pe udne vala insan", Mr. Shukla spitted sarcastically.
"Baba meri baiko hai", he said shocking Mr. Shukla.
"You must be kidding me", Mr. Shukla said beliewered.
"Nahi baba that's true I haven't married her in some good circumstances but now I love her", he stated with a smile.
But the very next moment a loud voice of a palm coming with contact of a cheek roared in the silent mension, he looked up expecting that palm to be of his father but he was proven wrong as it was his mother who has slapped him hard across his face who has come after there to check upon the father - son duo to ensure that they weren't fighting but instead what she heared was enough to churn her insides, her son is married and she didn't even knew a single thing about it.
"Tune shadi karli", Mrs. Shukla asked in wonder.
"Aa.. Aai", he whispered desperately wanting to explain.
"Tujhe janam dekar pal pos ke itna bada isliye kiya tha ki tu kisi ladki se shadi karle khud se aur humein khabar tak Karna zaruri na samjhe tujhe pata hai tere liye mein humesha inse ladti thi lekin tune toh humein praya kar diya apni zindagi se utha ke bahar pheink diya", Mrs. Shukla said with tears flowing down her eyes non-stop.
