Eight hours, it's been eight hours since Sidharth is standing outside the room from where the gut wrenching screams of his wife were clearly audible. His nerves were wrecking, he was at the edge for sure. His face had dried tears over the cheeks along with his nose running and eyes blood shot red. He literally have his heart in his throat right at this moment. He was so damn scared.

"Sidharth ghar chala jaa thodi der", Mrs. Shukla said placing a hand at his shoulder her son is a mess and staying here will just add onto it.

"Kyu", he frowned.

"You aren't fine Sidharth aur tu aise karega toh use kon sambhalega", Mrs. Shukla reasoned.

"Mein nahi jaa raha kahi bhi", he replied curtly before placing his face in his hands not having the strength to face anyone, he felt like he has drained himself.

Mrs. Shukla sighed and sat down too while folding her hands together to continue with her jup which she was doing before. The sounds of her screams have died down by now and Sidharth couldn't be more glad about anything else than this. Finally she's out of this misery Infact they both would be out of this misery. Sidharth was pacing back and forth when the sound of a door being creaked opened made it's sound and both of them rushed to the woman in white coat.

"How's she", Sidharth asked the very first question.

"Mrs. Shukla is fine", the doctor told with her forehead itched with the worry lines over it.

"And m.. My child", Sidharth asked.

"Congratulations Mr. Shukla it's a boy", the doctor told with a smile.

"She won", Sidharth mumbled to himself.

"Is he fine I mean he's healthy right", Sidharth asked.

"Yes, he's absolutely an healthy baby, he's 3kg' and that's healthy and he has gave a hard time to his mother", she told.

"But she's fine right", Sidharth asked again.

"She's fine Mr. Shukla don't worry it would be just the normal consequences which will come within nothing else", she assured before leaving.

"Humein beta hua hein maa", Sidharth whispered looking at his mother who engulfed him in her arms.

"She always wanted a son she'll be so happy naa maa", he said through his tears which flow down his face.

"Hnmm she'll be blessed", Mrs. Shukla nodded managing to smile at her son among tears.

"Hamare pote se milne nahi chalna tujhe", Mrs. Shukla asked her eyes twinkling.

"Can we see him", Sidharth asked.

"Ofcourse but we'll ask the nurse first if we can, okay", Mrs. Shukla said to which he nodded.

They walked towards the LDR after taking the nurse's permission if they could see the child And after receiving a green signal Sidharth walked inside as only one person was allowed to be inside at a time. He walked towards the small curb placed there and gazed at the little creature lying inside it, wrapped in a white blanket. He couldn't stop the tears falling down his eyes as he stared at the little life, a life created by him and his wife. The little boy, his child looked like a proper blend of both of them, his nose was as same as of Shehnaaz's, so was his cheeks chubby and red just like his mother whereas, his ears and lips they were as same as of Sidharth's. He truely looked like a one version of blended Sidnaaz as his features portrayed both of their selves as being one.

"You're the father right", the nurse who was inside the room for assistance asked breaking his moment and he looked up at her to give her a nod, he has finally become a father the thought sounds foreign yet so nostalgic.
