Chapter 4 - Bounded

A men came running into Gill Mansion making Mr. Gill startled at the sudden arrival but he shrugged otherwise as it seems to be urgent.

"Gill sahb vo.. Vo", the villager shuttered trying to catch his breath.

"Kya hua hein aur tum aise haaf kyu rahe ho", asked Mr. Gill folding his leg over another to show his persona.

"Vo Gill sahb Shehnaaz bitiya ko ek ldke ke Saath mtlb unhe vo ek ldke ke saath thi ek ghar mein vo jo shehri babu aaye the na unke sath vo film vale", the villager briefed.

"What", said Mr. Gill frowning.

"Ji mein sach bol raha hu aap chaliye vo shehri babu keh rahe hein ki ldki koi aur thi mgar sbbe Shehnaaz bitiya ko hi dekha aap chaliye", said the villager further adding.

"Shehnaz aisa kbhi nahi kar skti mein use ache se janta hu pr ye mauka acha hein thoda sa natak aur hua to usko shaadi ke liye haan bhi krni hi padegi haan ye sahi hein Mr. Kapoor ko call krta hu tyaar rehne ko", said Mr. Gill to himself smirking.

Mr. Gill called Mr. Kapoor told him about the situation and asked him to be ready they will have to do a little bit of drama and after that he can get married.

Sidarth searched each and every corner of the cottage to find Neha but alas! How could he find something which was not there. So he couldn't there were so many people standing there in front of the cottage along with that beautiful women sobbing right there

His Epitome of Beauty, her cheeks, nose have got pink and her eyes has got puffy due to the all crying. He literally cursed his ownself for this state of hers. Why do he has to invade into someone's house to talk to her.

He can see many eyes peircing that girl's soul with there deadly glares. He believes that people doesn't matter neither what they think about you but he knew for a fact that the people living in villages do have another morals on which they live.

Right now for what he is afraid for the most is this girl's scary face which is speaking volumes. She knew something bad is gonna happen with her for which she is scared and he is scared for her as he knew it too and he knew he is the reason behind it.

The villagers were speaking shit about her and it was hurting her but she was not in a condition to think about them she was just thinking about how will her father react to all this even her only support system Baaz is too not in the city. They both were just standing there as if culprits along with there head bowed down.

After a few minutes what felt like eternity everyone around went silent Sidarth didn't understand the reason behind it but Shehnaz it is her father who has arrived and it is because of him that everyone around has gone silent.

Mr. Gill came down from his car and gave a tight slap at Shehnaz's cheek making sana flinch and Sidarth hiss. He look at the men and his thoughts wandered over the conversation back in the morning which he has heared.

The fear crippled him up this men will get this beautiful girl married to that old men. It's all because of him. No, no he can't let this happen. He needs to do something. Mr Gill's next words bring him out of his chain of thoughts.

" Kya kr rahi ho tum yha aur ye ghar kiska hein aur yr admi yha kya kr rha hein haan", asked Mr. Gill from Shehnaaz while twisting her wrist painfully.

"Maine kuch nahi kiya", she said hoping he would believe her.

"Vo to dikh hi rha hein issi din ke liye bda kiya tha tujhe itna pdhaya likhaya tha haan kon tujhse shaddi karega mere itne salon ki kmayi hui izzat ek chutki mein uda di tune kon karega tujhse shaadi socha hein tune kuch bhi aur upar se ye bhi bol rahi hein ki maine kuch nahi kiya hey bghwan ye din dekhne se phle mein maar kyu nahi gaya", said Mr. Gill dramatically while faking tears at the same time.

The villagers were talking shit about her and Mr. Gill was constantly doing his drama. Shehnaz was just standing there numb while the silent tears kept flowing from her eyes whereas Sidarth was fuming and was finding a hard time in controlling his anger. He tried to interrupt as well in mid but Mr. Gill stopped him to do so. They were arguing when they heared a voice.

"Mein Karunga Inse Shaadi"

Everybody turned around to look at the person. Whereas Mr. Gill smirked knowing very well who's it, Sidarth saw him smirking too but couldn't understand the reason of it. He too turned around and found that same men there it was Mr. Kapoor. Now he got a clear view of the situation.

"aap krenge meri beti se shaadi", said Mr. Gill to Mr. Kapoor.

"Ye aap kya kr rahe hein Gill Sahb vo kitne badey hein sana bitiya se age mein", said one of the villagers.

" Mein apni bachi ki izzat ka soch rha hu bhaisahb", replied Mr. Gill.

"Aap ke hisaab se agar apki beti ki shaadi ho jaegi to vo sahi ho jaengi", asked Sidarth in utter disbelief.

" haan agar vo kissi ki dulhan bn jaegi to aur kissi ki himmat nahi hogi uss par ungli uthane ki", said Mr. Gill unknown to the fact what's coming next.

"Thik hein toh mein karunga apki beti se shaadi", said Sidarth in a finality lacing tone making everyone flinch.

" Pr a..aap kaise", shuttered Mr. Gill seeing his plan getting flop.

"Aap sab ek baat btaiye apne mujhe dekha na inke sath to agar mein shaadi krne ke liye tyaar hu to kissi ko koi dikkat nahi honi chahiye i guess", said Sidarth addressing to the people around.

" Haan haan ye sahi keh rahe hein gill sahb agar galati unhone ki hein aur agar vo zimmedari lene ko tyaar hein to kya galat hein", said villager.

" thik hein toh fer aap log pandit ji ko bulaiye mein tyaar hu", said Sidarth smirking at Mr. Gill whose face has went pale.

" mein pandit hi hu beta", said one of the villagers.

" good then aap mein se koi please ek mangalsutra aur sindoor arrange kra skta hein please", said Sidarth.

"Hnji beta kyu nahi mein karvati hu", said Montu's mother.

In the next few minutes the cottage was filled with the people around whereas Sidarth & Shehnaaz sitting at the floor along with an hawankund performing rituals.

Shehnaaz was just numb during all this before she could even register what was happening. The ladies present there took her inside with them they make her wear bangles and adore a bindi at her forehead she was in her same plazoo and kurti set. She was asked to get up to which she obliged and they took the pheras where she kept walking like a lifeless body.

After the seventh phera panditji asked Sidarth to fill her mid partition along with the vermilion. He took a pinch of it filling her partition with the red powder which fall at her nose as well making her look all the way more beautiful.

"Vivah sampann hua aaj se aap dono pati patni hue", said panditji chanting the last mantra and finishing performing the last ritual.

They both get up and touch Mr. Gill's feet. Sidarth hugged Mr. Gill forcefully and whispered in his ears, "Plan flopped", with a smirk and move back.
