Sidharth was sitting at the bed with his legs dangling down at the floor. His mind was running a marathon again, as he remembered the haunting look in her eyes. Something was definitely wrong with her and he don't know what it is but he need to figure it out. She was different (happy) when he has left and she was different (sad) when he came back. Something seems to be tremendously wrong with her. Do someone from his family mocked her or something? But his family isn't that insensitive, they will never do such thing. So what it could be?

He sighed rubbing his face in his hands tiredly. He just don't know why he can't live for two days with peace? He looked at the watch which displayed the time as 3:10, he immidiately stood up and made his way to the washroom. It was 2:30 when he has dropped her to the washroom, she hardly takes twenty minutes to take a bath. He gently knocked at the already open door but didn't receive a reply. He took a deep breath and stepped in. There she was leaning onto the wall with her body sloshed in the bath tub. Her eyes were closed.

"Baby", he called to check if she was alright and when she didn't replied he panicked.

He strolled closer and kneeled down patting her cheek to shook her awake, if she is in some kind of slumber or has fallen asleep. But, she didn't respond. He picked her up in his arms and brought her back to the room, placing her body at the bed, he locked the door first and wiped her out with an towel. He strolled back towards the washroom and picked up the clothes he has hung there. He made her wear those clothes over her, his hands were trembling and his eyes were filled with unshed tears but he knew he needed to act fast. He hiked her legs up from the bed to make her wear her pyjamas when he heared a knock at the door.

"Sidharth - Shehnaaz, dining pe ajao beta khana lag gaya hai", he heared his mom say.

"Aai dad ko bolo doctor ko call kare", he shouted from inside freaking out.

"Sidharth kya hua", Mrs. Shukla asked alarmed.

"Aai s.. She is unconscious", he said finally sliding the pyjama to her feet and walked out to open the door.

"Ek minute", saying so Mrs. Shukla went out in search of her husband whom she spotted at the corner of the hall while taking at phone, she gestured him to hear her and he kept his phone down and she hurriedly told him to call the doctor before sprinting back to her son.

"Sidharth", Mrs. Shukla whispered caressing his hairs softly as he laid there with his face shoved into his wife's stomach.

"Why is she doing this to me aai, agar isse kuch ho gaya toh i don't know what am gonna do", he muttered with an horrified expression covering his face.

"Shh! Sidharth aise nahi bolte kuch nahi hoga usse she will be fine, Mr. Batra will be here in a few minutes", she said calmly.

"Isne subah se kuch nahi khaya hai I guess isiliye bhi ho sakta hai naa", Mrs. Shukla said trying to sound positive.

"Apne Kuch bhi ni khilaya isse, aai isne breakfast bhi nahi kiya tha, plate yu ka yu chodh kar gayi thi", he said now worriedly.

"Pani marke dekha tune chehre pe", Mrs. Shukla asked.

"Aai panni mein hi thi voh", he reasoned.

"Phir bhi dekh leh ek baar, doctor toh aa hi rahe hai", Mrs. Shukla suggested and he nodded getting up.

He sprinkled a few drops of water at her face, around her eyes but she didn't opened her eyes making him sigh defeatingly. Both of them looked at the limp body lying there at the bed with an pale face, they don't know just how to wake her up and what could they do to make her feel any better.

They waited for a few moments more before Mr. Batra barged in along with Mr. Shukla and his famous briefcase in his hand. He removed the sphygmomanometer from his briefcase and tightened the cuff of it around her right elbow before switching the button on. They waited for a few seconds to let the sphygmomanometer pump the pressure and tighten the cuff so that it could display her blood pressure rate. It beeped and Mr. Batra glanced at the
machine through his spectacles and a frown etched at his wrinkled face.
