Haven's POV:
"Haven and Mason sitting in a tree
k-I-s-s-I-n-g." Matthew teased. "shut up." I said back to Matthew rolling my eyes. Mason just chuckled lightly from behind. "Mom Mason is going to help me with college picking." I yelled through out the house. "okay be back for dinner." She hollered back. "see you." I yelled walking out the door with Mason. "you haven't told her?" Mason asked looking at me as we walked towards his car. "No not exactly have you told your dad and Wendy?" I asked back stepping into the car as Mason closed the door behind me. "I mean I have." Mason said a soon as he got to the drivers seat. "I don't know what my mom will think, why did your dad say?" I questioned. "I told him that we were dating and then he started yelling at me about college and then he said that I should stop spending less time with friends and more time on college and I said that I already booked a plane ticket." mason said as he drove down the block. "oh were are you going?" I asked trying to sound like I didn't mind him going off to college. "UCLA, I leave in a week." Mason said "were you going to tell me?" I asked a bit mad that he asked me out and he's going to move. "yeah but I mean I thought we could keep a long distant relationship." Mason said stealing a glance at me and back to focusing on the road. "you know I the long distance." I reminded crossing my arms. "I know but can we get through it, orator you can come to UCLA with me." Mason said stopping the car at the theater parking lot. "Don't I have to audition for their performing arts thing?" I questioned "yeah but you will do great." Mason said grabbing my hand. "come on we will be together." Mason urged. "I don't know I've never performed in front of anyone." I said scared. "well you have some time to think about it and hey I've heard you play and sing you will do great." Mason said. "thanks what are you going to do for your audition?" I asked as we walked hand in hand to the theater. "I'm going to act." He simply said "oh speaking about acting I heard some auditions are going on in California." I said looking up smiling. "there are always auditions over there." Mason said shaking his head looking down at me. "no but this is for a big time movie on one of our favorite books." I explained wiggling my eyebrows. "what hook?" Mason asked suddenly putting all his interest in the audition. "The Maze Runner." I dramatically said "ha who would I be?" Mason said full sarcasm in his voice "I don't know what about Thomas?" I suggested "Thomas is nothing like me, plus he's the main character." Mason said dragging himself down. "you will be perfect I have seen you act." I said trying to lift his spirt. "one time back I'm the 11th grade." He said stepping up to the usher of the ticket booth. "And you were amazing." I said smiling "whatever, 2 tickets to Into the Woods." Mason said rolling his eyes playfully at me. "Here you go." The lady said as she passed the tickets over and I slid in the money but mason stopped my hand took the money and payed with his money. "hey." I said whining "give me you wallet." Mason said "no, why?" I asked "so I can put your net back you aren't paying for a single thing on this date." Mason said "why not?" I questioned walking into the theater. "because its not right I'm the guy so I pay for the date you just have to live with it.' Mason shrugged grabbing my hand. "whatever, Thomas." I said smirking jokingly. "Don't call me that." Mason said "why not I'm helping you, you need to at least try, it will be an experience." I said encouraging him "fine but only if you come to college with me." Mason warned "Okay deal." I said smiling. "good know snacks." Mason said smiling dragging me to the snacks.
