Chapter 17

Haven's POV:
"Hey." I greeted as I sat next to Mason. He just shot me a glare and continued scribbling in his notebook. "Did I do something?" I asked wondering why Mason is acting like this. "just give him space he's been acting like that all morning." Anthony said sitting behind me. I just nodded and gathered my things and moved to the empty seat next to Anthony. "It's alright." Anthony said giving me a friendly pat on my back. I forced a smile and opened my laptop and went to my math notes.
It was only a few minutes till class started and I was typing fiercely trying to keep up. I noticed that the teacher had stopped blabbing and had turned her attention to the door. I also turned my head towards the door. And there stood a red haired greened eyes girl with the figure of a stick. "Hey my names Emily." She waved. "Emily please take a seat next to Mason." The teacher said as she continued to write notes on the board. "Hey." I heard mason speak. "Hey." She said pulling out the chair. Oh so he speaks to her but not to his own girlfriend I don't mean to be clingy but I don't even know what I did. I ignored the both of them continuing to write down notes. Stealing a few glances at the two in front. Both were smiling and she always found some way to touch him it was either his hand or upper arm. I was boiling red from anger. I wasn't jealous I can't get jealous I was just angry. "do you have a girlfriend?" She asked smiling "Uhmm no I don't actually." Mason said. My heart broke right after that sentence. He does realize that I'm right behind him. "excuse me but you do have a girlfriend." Anthony said pissed written all over his face. "Anthony no I don't." Mason said getting angry. "whatever you say bitch." Anthony said leaning back giving me an apologetic look. "Its fine." I said hiding my pain. "Your lying." Anthony said. "no I'm not just really looking forward to our best friend night tonight." I said. "okay I'm free, ice cream and junk food in your dorm." Anthony said throwing his hands up. "Okay weirdo see you later." I said grabbing my things and leaving the class room since we have been dismissed. "Haven!!" I heard a call as I exited the building into the bright sun light. I turned on my heels facing the person that had called me. "Haven I'm really sorry about what happened back there." Mason said "yeah me too, but it doesn't matter because you know you and I aren't together." I said turning back around beginning to walk. "Im sorry I just said that because I was upset." He yelled catching up to me. "why were you upset?" I asked. "because you lied to me." He said "when?" I asked confused. "last night when I asked you if you wanted to go to work with me." Mason answered "I didn't lie I said I had something planned and I did." I defended "oh yeah what was it?" He asked getting closer showing his eagerness with a hint of anger. "An audition.' I let out as I continued my way to my dorm. "Why?" He asked pulling my arm back. "Because I didn't make the first one and I didn't want you to find out."I said looking down. "what? but you did great." Mason said "doesn't matter what you think, they said that I had made the first list but for some reason my name didn't show." I explained. "Told you just a accident with the computers or something." mason said. "Yeah but this doesn't change anything I'm still mad at you." I shot walking away. "okay how can I make it up to you?" He asked I was about to answer. But we were interrupted by the redhead with bones for a body. "hey mason are we still on for tonight?" She asked. "uhmmm." Mason struggled. "yeah he is ill let you two love birds catch up, goodbye mason." I said beyond pissed walking away ignoring Mason calling me. I pulled my phone out and texted him. "Just so you know we are taking a break." I sent the text and looked back. He was still looking at me while the redheaded stood there confused. I turned back around a corner and watched him. I don't mean to be a stalker I just want to see how he reacts to the text. He pulled out his phone and stared at it for a moment. He turned to the girl and said something put of hearing distance. He than started running in the direction i walked away in. I turned my head and walked into the coffee shop that was at the corner to hide. I then collided once more with a hard body and fell back. "Ouch!" I ached stepping on my feet dusting my butt off. "sorry I didn't mean to." Said a deep but soft voice. I looked up and it was the same boy I had bumped into before the audition.

Mason's POV:
Haven had walked away after saying goodbye mason. "Haven,Haven ,Haven." I screamed wanting her to turn around but she didn't she continued to walk I stared at her as she walked my mind racing on a debate wether to give her space or go after her. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket I reached in and pulled it put it was a text message from Haven "Just so you know we are taking a break." I read and stared at the text till I pulled my self back to reality Emily was still standing there confused. "Tonight at 8 meet me at the fountain, right now I have to go." I rushed running after Haven. I know I shouldn't have told Emily that our date was still on but I couldn't just ditch her. I stopped for a minute and looked around for her. "Ouch!" I heard a cry. I turned my head towards the noise and saw Haven's back she was on the ground getting up. i was making my way over. When I looked up it was Ki Hong Lee my friend from the set who plays Minho. What is he doing here? I though. I saw him smiling and Haven laughing. Jealous room over and I turned hot on my heels and walked back to Emily who was scribbling something on a paper. I grabbed her face and pressed my lips against hers. She kissed back and we stood there. I heard many oooo's go around us and snaps of pictures. "Mason what was.." Emily started. "I forgot to say goodbye, see you at 8." I smirked walking away toward my dorm. Passed Haven and Lee who had stopped while they were walking. "Mason." Lee called out. I ignored him and continued to walk to my dorm. I was disappointed with myself I knew I should have controlled my jealousy.
I reached my dorm room and dropped my body into the bed. I began to cry quietly to myself. "What have I done, I screwed everything up." I said to myself yanking my hair frustrated. "what the hell was that in math." Anthony said barging in. I stayed quiet and closed my eyes shut still laying in the bed. "I asked you a question why did you do that to Haven and by the way I saw the pictures of you and that new girl making out its all over the Internet or at least what I can find." a nothing said throwing his phone on top of me. I grabbed it and looked at the screen it was a picture of me and Emily kissing someone had posted it on Instagram and the likes and comments were blowing up. "This is bad." I say. "No kidding imagine how Haven feels." Anthony yelled. "She already had Lee." I muttered getting up. As I walked out the door passing the angry Anthony. "Hey what's up with you and this new girl." Nathan asked. "yeah I thought you and haven were together." Preston said I ignored them both and continued to walk. I climbed into my car ignoring the snickers and stares that haunted me as I passed the campus. I began to drive to work in silence but inside my head was racing with thoughts and my heart ached. It got stings and it pounded I was scared, broken and lost.
