Chapter 13

Haven's POV:
The audition announcement had finally came up. Kara, Mason, and I all had made it into the acting program and I had made it in the music program as well. We have been attending our regular classes and our programs for about three weeks. Mason hasn't told me anything about his audition for the Maze Runner, but every now and then I ask if they have called him back or if he had heard anything. but every time I ask he just shakes his head no or hesitates to say something. I think he's keeping something away from me e seems afraid almost to speak to me. We hardly even hang out anymore. Okay today I am going to do something about this I don't know what yet but I'm going to put an end to this secret thing.

Mason's POV:
"Just don't tell her anything." I warned to Nathan. "okay I won't but I gotta run I have a date with Kara." Nathan said grabbing his phone and wallet in a rush and ran out the door, do fast I couldn't let out a goodbye. "okay I'm going to call haven." I said to myself. I scrolled down my contact list till it landed on Havens number. the phone rang for a few moments then I heard her soft welcoming voice speak through the line. "Hey Mason." She cheered. "Haven can you meet me by the fountain?,i have to tell you something." I spoke. "are you breaking up with me?" She asked "no I just have to tell you something it's about the Movie audition." I said calming her. "okay I got scared for a second." she laughed "Don't worry I can never break up with you." I said "good neither can I but at the fountain, like right now?" she questioned. "yeah heading over there right now." I said running my hands through my hair in front of the mirror and grabbing my backpack. "okay ill see you there then" Haven confirmed. "okay thanks bye love you." I said walking out the door. "yeah okay bye love you." She said as the line went dead. indicating that she had ended the phone call. I buried my phone deep into my back pocket, and continued my way to the fountain.

Okay all you need to say is that the reason you have been distant lately, is because you have been filming, and you had gotten a call. I thought I my head. I shook my head and said that sounds stupid and cliche. When I was going to come up with another way to say it a hey was called out to me. "hey." Haven said waving at me smiling and taking a seat next to me. I smiled back at her. "so what did you want to tell me?" she asked looking at me with cheery eyes. "oh Uhmm I wanted to say that I know we have been distant lately and that's because I got a call and I got the part of Thomas,and I have been filming." I rushed stuttering a but every now and then, and once I had finished I rubbed the back of my neck. "Mason that's great, you got the part, Im happy for you. but how long have you been filming?" She congratulated but finished off with a question "a few weeks,I'm sorry I didn't tell you I just thought that you will be I don't know what I thought I was just scared." I said trying to explain myself. "hey it's fine,I'm glade you told me I was actually going to bring up the situation today." Haven said letting me know it was fine. "really?" I asked. "Yeah I didn't like the distance." she shrugged "I didn't either,do how about I make it up to you do you want to come to the set with me and meet the cast and director, even James Dashner himself. " I offered smiling. "I would love to oh my gosh this is amazing Thank you so much." haven said jumping into my arms smiling. "Your welcome, I film tonight at 9:00 I got a excuse with the school and they open the gates for me so you can jut come with me." I informed. "Okay thank you again.' Haven said being polite an unable to contain her happiness. "I can't believe I get to meet James, I love his book I just started his Eye of Minds book, and I am in love." Haven said jumping around. "hey calm down, I need to get to acting class wanna come?" I laughed "I sorta have to we have class together." Haven said ruffling my hair. "Come on." I said playfully rolling my eyes fixing my hair with my free hand since I hand intertwined my other hand with Haven's, every time our hands touched I got the electric feeling inside me it made me really happy and it made a smile appear on my face for no reason at all.
