Chapter 30

Haven's POV:

Mason and I were walking hand in hand to his car. He was heading to his work, they had finished the movie and the director wanted to congratulate the cast. Mason wanted me to join so he can announce out engagement. "Mason you didn't have to take me." I said once we got to the doors. "what I'm just gonna say I'm engaged with out my beautiful future wife by my side?" Mason asked opening the door for us being greeted by his cast members. "Hey Haven nice to see you." Thomas said giving me a friendly hug. "you too, congrats on the movie." I said "thank you." He smiled. "Hey Thomas." Mason greeted letting me go as they did a little handshake bro thing. "see you around." Thomas waved goodbye heading off some where.

" I think it's time to tell them since everyone seems to be here." Mason said to me going close to my ear. "okay, you tell them they are closer to you." I said back. "okay." Mason smiled giving me a peck on the cheek. "HEY EVERYONE!!" Mason screamed grabbing everyone's attention. I covered my mouth holding in a laugh. "Well, I have something to announce." Mason said again this time lowering his voice. "Uhmm well last night I proposed to Haven and she said yes." Mason said grabbing my hand and pulling me close. Cheers we sounded as people came and parted Mason on the back and congratulated us. I smiled at how kind they were I was only close to a few of them but they all were so nice and welcoming.

Mason and I decided to leave a bit early since we had a flight in the morning. We were dropping out of college. It's not exactly what I wanted to do, but I can find a college back home. I need something more steady than music possibly a job as a teacher, or a child social worker. Anything with kids is fine with me. "Mason." I said out of the blu on our car ride back to campus. "Yes?" he asked taking his eyes off the road for a second to look at me then focusing them back on the road. "nothing I just really love you." I smiled. U saw his smile creep up. Even though it was dark and hardly any light was shown. His smile was still visible. "I love you too." He said turning to me grabbing my hand. I smiled and looked back to the road having my eyes widen. "MASON!!" I yelled causing him to direct his attention to the road swerving out of the way of a semi truck. But it was to late. Before I knew it we were turning on our side I tried to grip onto something, anything but then we were crashing into another car. And all I saw was black.
