Mason's POV:

"Haven." I said smiling as I saw it was her that had called my name. "hey Mason." She said walking up to me giving me a side hug as I returned it. "ewww your sweaty." She said playfully pushing me away. "Haha whatever." I laughed I then realized that my part of my cast was still here. "oh Uhmm Haven this is Thomas he plays Newt, Will he plays Gally, and you already met Kaya who is Teresa." I introduced to haven "nice to meet you." She waved "you too." Thomas said waving back "good to finally meet you, your Mason's Girlfriend correct?" Will asked Haven. My cheeks burned up. "yep he's my boyfriend and one of my best friends." Haven answered smiling at me. "Awww look love birds in love." Thomas said placing his hand on his heart. "Whatever." Kaya said rolling her eyes. Shes probably just tired, I thought as she rolled her eyes. "hey guys I'm going to bring her tomorrow is that fine." I asked. "Yeah I mean she looks like she likes it here plus who doesn't like a new friend." Thomas said smiling "okay good, Haven would you like to come to work with me tomorrow?" I asked turning to her "I would love to but I have a thing planned and I had planned it out for tomorrow so I really can't." Haven stumbled. "Okay?, what do you have planned?" I asked raising my eyebrows. "Just a thing." She shrugged hiding her face. "okay that's cool here meet me at the car, I need to go to the bathroom really quick." I said handing her the keys. "okay ill be outside." Haven said taking the keys from my hands. "nice meeting you guys." Haven smiled waving at Thomas,Will and Kaya. "Bye." They said waving as she walked away. "Hey Tommy looks like your lady is lying to you." Thomas said referring to the nickname Newt calls Thomas. "you think?" I asked turning to the group of friends. "Yeah she has a thing and she just so happens that she told you right when you asked." Will said "I say she's lying to you probably meeting up with one of her secret boyfriends." Kaya said crossing her arms. "stop Haven isn't like that." I said "Then why did she lie?" Kaya said "maybe she has a surprise for you, or she really has something planned that she can't tell you." Will said "maybe." I said shrugging looking down. "look maybe its nothing, don't worry about and don't ask her avoid a fight." Thomas said. "will do, see you guys tomorrow." I said.

Haven's POV:

I totally blew it. Im such a horrible liar under pressure. "Now mason knows something's going on." I mumbled to myself. "Whoa whoa whoa, what's going on." Kara said coming out if the bathroom with her toothbrush in her mouth. "Mason I lied to mason yesterday about my audition and I think he knows." I said worried "Calm down." Violet said walking outside of the bathroom with her hair brush in her hand. Violet was Kara's and my roommate. She was our age but studying for psychology and she does dance. "I jut didn't want him to know I didn't make the first audition." I said. "listen he would still be proud of you." Violet cooled. "no he wouldn't, this is the whole reason I came here I spent half my life on music and now I blew it. The judges hated it." I said softly. "Im telling you Mason wouldn't be upset, You did great I saw and heard you, the judges don't know what they are talking about." Kara said. "They do know what they are doing that's why they were picked to be judges also they are the teachers of the music program they know music." I said "but still don't drag yourself down." Violet said "Maybe that girl was right." I said tying my boot laces. (Outfit above) Both Kara and Violet stayed silent and have me pity looks. I pulled on a light smile and grabbed my school bag and pulled my glasses on and started to walk to the auditorium.
