Haven's POV:
Once I got to Mason's door I knocked once then twice, the third time someone had opened the door. I recognized the short red head with a medium figure anywhere, the women who would never replaced Mrs.Hunt. "hello?" Wendy asked questioning. Of course she didn't remember my name she doesn't even bother to remember Gale's or Mason's name. "Is Mason here." I ask politely. "Uhmm hold on one second please." Wendy said while she lightly shut the door.

"David get over here." Wendy whisper shouted as soon as she closed the door on Haven the young 18 year old. "what is it?" David asked. "Theres a girl outside asking for Mason." Wendy said excited "Who?" Mason's Dad asked. "Ugh she has dark hair and a tan face oh and big eyes." Wendy explained unable to give the name. David shook his head playfully with a small smile as he reached behind his girlfriend and opened the door.

Haven's POV:
"Haven!" Mason's dad said once they reopened the door. "Hey Mr.Hunt, is Mason here?" I asked once again. Since he knew who I was. "Yeah he's up in his room you can head up there or I can call him outside." He offered "which ever works best." I said smiling "okay ill call him down and ill let you two talk." Mr.Hunt said as he called for his son.

Mason sat at his desk, still on his laptop, this time looking at monologues, for his audition. As he continued to scroll and scan the screen waiting for something to catch his attention. But on his search of college he couldn't get Haven's laugh out of his mind, he felt as if it was mocking him, putting him in the stupid friend zone. He was dumb to think Haven would like him anymore than a friend. Mason got pulled from his screen when his father called his name "MASON!!" his father shouted "WHAT!!" Mason called back getting up from his chair heading to his door. "Haven is here." Mr.Hunt called out still unaware of the event that had jut happened a speedy 20 minutes ago. Mason questioned himself of he should go down. He decided he will just hear her on why she was here.

Mason's POV:

I had gotten down stairs in no rush even though inside, my heart was racing a thousand beats per second. "hey." I said giving a small smile "hi." she said giving me a smile back. We will let you two talk." My dad said taking Wendy by the hand and leading her away from the door.

"So what's up." I asked while she was still waiting at the door. "Can we talk?" She asked looking down."Yeah sure you wanna head to the back?" I asked gesturing to the back of me. We usually hang out there with our friends when they come over this is our spot were we talk. "yeah that would be nice." She said nodding.

I opened the door wider and allowed her to walk in. Gale was there to greet her. "HAVEN!!!" he yelled "hey Gale." She said lifting him to her side even though he was older she still picked him up because she loved children, especially when she hold them it makes her feel like she's pretexting them.

"Hey Gale Haven needs to talk to me, we will play later." I said rubbing the back of my neck "Okay." Gale said doing his best wink, for him it was closing both eyes shut and opening them really fast. Haven had set him down back in the floor. Setting him on his feet as he ran back to the living room.

"To our spot." She said out loud after Gale ran off. "Oh yea yeah, right." I said leading the way to the back. We passed by the kitchen.e avoiding the sure from my Dad and Wendy.

"So?" I asked once we got to the back. "I didn't mean to laugh." She let out. "oh." I said looking down. "I thought you were joking, I thought you still liked Brenda." She said taking a seat next to me, still keeping her distance. "No, Brenda I told you I liked her so you wouldn't find out that I really like you." I said. Brenda was a girl who shared the same classes with me and Haven occasionally, a few weeks ago Haven asked who I liked so the name Brenda came out, and I didn't know why. "So you do like me?" She said shocked pointing at herself. "Yes you." I said letting a chuckle out putting her hand down. "Oh well I guess this will be a good time to say I like you too." She said her lips growing into a smile.letting out a light laugh. "I guess it would." I said aloud laughing along with her. "So?" She said looking in the eyes. "Would you like to go on a date with me?" I asked not breaking eye contact. "I would Love to." She said smiling her wonderful smile.

I didn't say anything I just gave he a light peck on the cheek. "Wanna go swimming?" I asked "yeah sure hey ready ill get Gale." she said sitting up extending her hand fore to grab. I smiled up at her as she returned it, I grabbed her hand and lead the way back inside.

"So how was they talk?" Wendy asked. "Good." I said I didn't like Wendy, but I was happy right now so I pulled my hating feelings for Wendy aside. My dad and Wendy glanced down at our hands and didn't say a word just gave each other a secret glance. I moved passed that and started to walk Haven to the living were Gale was. After I dropped her off, I walked to my room were I could get ready.

"Hey Gale wanna go swimming with your brother and I?" Haven asked the young boy who was playing with building blocks on the floor. "Uhmmm yeah." Gale said as he jumped up from the floor and grabbed Haven's hand. Both smiling as Gale went up the stairs explaining how, He thought he saw a shark washed up on the shore, but it endeared up being a dead fish that got stuck in a net. Once they reached Gale's room haven said "hey Gale I'm going to wait down stairs for you okay." Gale looked at her and nodded letting her know he understood.

Haven walked down the stairs and joined Mr.Hunt and Wendy. "Hey" Haven let out her and Mason's parents were close, but Wendy was something else she didn't bother to do anything just sit around and play chef. "So what did you and Mason talk about out there." Mr.Hunt asked. Not knowing if Mason wanted to let them know about their date. "Oh I just wanted to ask if he could help me with my decision on college." She said making up a lie. smiling lightly at the end of her lie. "Oh we heard that Mason, wanted to leave Kahului and go to way out there, he might have already booked the ticket." Wendy said chopping up veggies. I put on a fake smile. "Oh I didn't know that." Haven said wondering why mason asked her out if he was planning on moving.

"What's going on down here?" Mason asked with Gale in his arms stepping into the kitchen. "oh nothing." Mason's dad said continuing to season meat.

Haven's POV:

Once we got outside Gale ran out into the water. I stood aside and pulled my shirt off and shorts so they wouldn't get wet I had my swimsuit under so it wasn't a big deal.

"Hello?" Mason said wrapping his arms around my waist. "Hey weirdo." I laughed out. "Race you" Mason yelled. Running up ahead to the water, I quickly started to run I knew I wouldn't beat him, since he was already got a head start.

"You cheated." I yelled out to him "no I didn't you cheated too." He said "first of all you jut admitted you cheated, second of all I cheated like an hour ago doesn't count." I said "that makes no sense but okay whatever you say." Mason said taking a hold off hand. He walked us towards Gale.

"What are you doing?" I asked the busy 7 year old as he dug into the sand "Looking for something." Gale said as he took his small hand out of the water. "what are you looking for?" I asked bending down looking around the water, seeing if I can spot what he was looking for. "A seashell." Gale simply said. I looked up to Mason as he held his head down low. I was confused. "Why a seashell, do you need help picking one out?" I asked altogether "Yeah,and I'm getting it for my mom." Gale said. Know I knew why Mason had looked down a second ago. "well then we have to make sure it's the most beautiful one out of all Maui." I said trying to lift the mood.

I looked up to Mason who's head was still low. "Mason came help us we are going to need more hands to help pick the perfect one." I said smiling up to him "okay." he said pulling on a small smile, as he bent down I'm the water next to me and Gale.

The three stayed out till Sunset searching for the perfect seashell, Gale didn't think any of them were pretty enough.
