Channing's POV:
Severus was still holding my hand leading me down the aisles full of books until we came to a stop at one of the desk. "Grace, I want you to meet someone." Severus said as we stopped at a girl with Chestnut brown hair and forest green eyes that were covered by glasses, and light tan skin."Hey." She said pulling out her hand and putting her book down. "Hey my names, Channing, but you can call me Chan." I said to her reaching for her hand "And my name is Grace you can call me Grace." She said smiling. I can't help but let my Girly side out and get butterflies and a rushing heart just thinking of the fact that Serverus introduced me to his sister maybe he thinks of me as more than a friend. No stop that's impossible we just have met. He doesn't feel that way. I convinced myself.Haven's POV:
"They are cute." I said to Crystal and Christina.Taking a slip of my milkshake as we all sat at the booth of their work place. "Have you guys talked to them yet?" Brooke asked "Yeah a couple of times we haven't hinged out or anything we just briefly talk when it's our shift we take their orders." Crystal explained looking down picking at her nails. "Why don't you just go up and talk to them." Channing suggested "because Chan it's not as easy as it sounds." Christina said taking in a look of defeat. "No it's not I will go with you." Brooke said getting out of the booth standing at the end of the table. "Well what are ou waiting for let's go." She continued waiting on Christina and Crystal to follow her. "Im not getting up." Crystal said "Neither am I." Christina said with them both crossing their arms. "Fine I will go alone." Brooke said on her way to the table with the two boys. "Wait." Both Christina and Crystal said "You two are doomed." I chuckled at them "Oh yeah what about you Mason just walked through the door." Chan said nodding her head to the door. "Great hide me." I said slouching down. "No." Kara said finally speaking up taking a break from texting Nathan all day. "Lets focus on Crystal and Christina's boy problem for now." I said to everyone. "Great pin it on us again." Crystal said "Glad you don't mind." I told them back "See this is the reason I don't get involved with boys, They all lead to confusion." Channing said making a point "What about the guy from the beach?" Kara teased smirking "He's no one, Now hush Brooke's coming lets see what she has to say." Chan said changing the subjects She totally likes that boy from the beach."Sooo, what happened?" Christina asked as Brooke sat down. "Oh nothing much." She said "You spent like 5 minutes and no words were spoken?" Crystal asked "No not really just the part were I got their numbers for you and you have a date tomorrow night at 7." Brooke cheered "Really?" Christina asked "no way" Crystal added on. "Yep your welcome." Brooke said taking a bow handing them a separate piece of papers with numbers scribbled down. "See you guys should have went with her." Kara said. "yeah yeah whatever everything turned out fine." Crystal said.
We sat there got half an hour talking letting conversations change and teasing each other emerge. "So back to Mason." Brooke said wiggling her eyebrows. "What about him." I asked shifting uncomfortably. "He's here you know maybe you too can make up." Channing said Sayings Brooke's idea aloud. "No way, Kara saw how he was and I saw too, he's not the same." I said crossing my arms. "How isn't he the same?" Christina asked "He basically went on from girl to girl, after they broke up, oh and he was flirting and made a date with a girl while they were dating." Kara said "Okay so he's a douche but I mean people change." Channing said "Yeah, not all the time but at times." Crystal said "Im not talking to him besides he's with his friends." I shrugged "So they are your friends too." Kara said "And if I were you I would take this time to actually speak to him, He's going to be famous soon." Brooke reminded "Maybe its best that he does he can leave my life." I said gathering my things. "where are you going?" Channing asked "Away from here I need time, you guys don't understand how much he hurt me, I might be overreacting but there's alot of pain." I said keeping my voice low enough so just the table can hear. The girls all looked down and Crystal motioned her eyes behind me telling me to look behind me. I sighed a turned around. Great Mason. "You heard everything didn't you." I said looking straight forward avoid his eyes. "Yeah, I did and I'm sorry I made you feel bad." Mason said truthfully. "It doesn't matter anymore." I said pushing past him going toward the exit Successfully making it out the door.
Mason's POV:
I stood there I didn't know if I should go after her or let her be. "Go after her." Crystal said almost reading my mind. I nodded and quickly ran to the exit. "Mason!" I heard my friends yell. I ignored them I spend plenty of time with them I'm sure I can spare a few minutes with Haven. "Have you seem a girl about this tall and with Brown glistening eyes and long brown beautiful hair and tan skin." I asked a woman close by after I ran a little. "No I'm sorry." She said smiling lightly. "Okay thank you." I smiled back quickly running forward along the boardwalk looking for Haven.Haven's POV:
"Thank you so much." I told the woman stepping out from behind the crate I between a ice cream parlor and a souvenir shop. "No problem." She said "I owe you is there anything I can do?" I asked her politely "No, but you could tell me why you are running away from that boy, If I were you I would be running towards him." The woman asked "It complicated." I sighed upset that it had to he complicated "I got time, lets sit and you can tell me." She offered. "okay." I smiled taking starting to walk with the woman. I told her the story on how Mason and I had been friends, then he asked me out and finally we went to collage hurt me and now we are here. "By the looks of it he was just as confused as you are." The lady said "What do you mean?" I asked "You said he got the part for a big movie maybe it's his ego, It doesn't necessarily mean that he's ashamed of you or anything, it's just a new world he's not used to maybe he's trying to fit in by putting out the definition of cool." She suggested "Yeah I guess, but I'm friends with some of his co workers and not many of them are like that." I said "All people are different.' She said "Your right I suppose." I said as we stopped at a bench to take a seat. "Don't be afraid to forgive when I was your age, I made the same mistake your making, you however can change it now, go after him tell him how you feel and make things right." She motivated. She looked no order than 36 surely she could have found another love after she let her first one go. "I will later." I smiled "good, now if you need anything give me a call." She said handing me a piece of paper with her number. She must have written it when we were speaking. "I will..." I carried on leaving a blank for her to fill with her name. "Cathrin, and your name?" She answered then asked politely. "Haven, and it was nice meeting you Cathrin." I said getting up along with her. "It won't be goodbye, you have my number I'm expecting a call." She smiled "I will dont worry, bye." I said waving at her as I walked down the boardwalk.
