Haven's POV:
I was walking along the campus to the auditorium. I knew people were snickering at me and pointing and probably making false rumors about me. It's elementary school all over again. I looked down and pretended to be studying my music notes. When all of a sudden i collided with a huge body figure. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking were I was going." I panicked as I looked over the ground for my music book that had dropped "Looking for this?" The boy asked he had narrow eyes, tan skin and his hair was fluffy and was pushed up into a quiff. I couldn't help but feel like I have seen him before "thank you." I said pushing of the thought. "your welcome." He spoke as he smiled down. "well I'm running late I got to go." I said nodding and walking off in a hurry. The snickering had became louder and it was really bugging me. I don't understand I have spent so much time changing my look and I have been takin better care of myself, I tried so hard to leave that young girl behind the one hated by everyone, But she still lives I'm never good enough for anyone. I thought wiping a year that had slipped away. I pushed through the double glass doors with a wooden trim and made my way to the audition.
I walked to the audition and as the door squeaked the judges turned there head. "I'm so sorry I'm late I got held up." I said apologizing. "its fine we just got here ourselves." One of the judges said smiling. "okay well I'm Haven Matthews, and I will be performing Hall of Fame by The Script." I said smiling taking my place on the piano bench turning my body toward the keys. "okay." I heard one judge say.
I began with the intro and then broke out into singing the song.
Hall of Fame- The Script
I had ended the song and got up and smiled. "so how did I do?" I asked "that was beautiful, but I still don't understand why you wanted a second audition." One older lady asked "what do you mean?" I asked. "You made the first audition we missed you for the passed 4 classes." She said "No I think you mistaken my name wasn't on the list." I said "yes it was we made sure of it." A man said "but I could have sworn that I scanned that list over a million times, and not once did my name appear." I said once more. "well I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I would love to have you come to class in the music hall, here's our schedule." She said handing me a paper. "thank you so much." I said happily hugging each of the judges. "Your welcome." They said.
"I made it I can't believe I made it." I said to myself. "what did you make." I heard a voice way to familiar to forget.b"oh hi Melody." I said trying my best to be polite. "what did you make." She said ignoring my greeting. "oh right the music program." I said slipping the schedule into my music book. "Oh please you weren't on the first list." Melody said. "I audition again they liked it and I got into the music program." I explained "I can't believe I'm paying money to a school that excepts nobodies." She screeched. "Im sorry?" I said in more of a question. "you should be." She said walking off along with her preppy friends whom carried a similar loom to her. I rolled my eyes. And began to walk to my math class. I was glad I had math Mason is in my math class and I can't wait to tell him. I walked to math unable to hide my smile. This is a start of a good day.
