The weather in Yokohama was gloomier than usual. There's no sight of the sun during the day nor the moon during the night.

"Oi, y/n! Get your ass here right now, boss wants to have a meeting." Kakucho yelled from the balcony of my room. I gave him a thumbs up and grabbed my tenjiku uniform. I have to be there quick, I'm not izana's second hand for nothing.

My mask was dangling from my ear as i fixed it and ran downstairs to the other building, which was tenjiku's official meeting place. There were already a few members inside, making small talks with each other. I spotted the purple eye boy and immediately rushed towards him.

"Are we about to start?" I asked him while scanning the whole venue.

"Yeah." He replied and left my side. He's very distant and quiet when he's with me. I don't know about other people though, never seen him communicated normally.

"Gather around everyone. This meeting is starting now." Kakucho shouted and gestured a few hand movements in the air.

I stood beside izana, a few steps behind as he begin talking about this new gang that was starting to get bigger. My mind zoned out of focus for a while.

"That'll be it for today. Dismiss." He turned around and signalled for me to follow him.

He sat down on one of the couches making me feel out of place. "Tell me, y/n. What were you thinking just now? You were not focusing at all to what i was saying. Not even a single bit."

I froze in my spot. Of course he knows..

"It's nothing, izana-san." I replied quietly. He tapped his fingers onto the smooth surface and looked at me.

"I'm here to tell you that if you ever get attacked by that new gang when you least know it, we won't save you or some shit."

I kicked the stone that was laying on the ground into the river. "That kinda hurts."

My mind was bothered with what izana told me. I mean, not that I actually thought i was special. We are his servants after all. If i die, he can replace me with another person easily. I sighed and started ruffling my hair.

"Fuck this shit."

"Aw, is the princess having a crisis?"

What the hell? I turned around and saw 10 guys in dark red jackets. Each has a tiger tattoo on their neck. Is this really happening right now?

"You're really thinking hard, princess." He approached me with a sly smile on his face. "Let's have some fun shall we?"

And with that, the 10 guys charged themselves at me from different directions.

IZANA's POV

"Izana! Where are you going?" Kakucho walked beside me as he bid farewell to the Haitani brothers.

"Home, why?"

He shrugged and stuffed his hands inside his pockets. "I'm just having a bad feeling, that's all." I thought to myself for a while and we walked in silence.

Y/N's POV

The leader punched me in the stomach making me fall down with my elbow scratching the rough road. My usual black mask was nowhere to be seen.

I took down 5 of them, 5 more to go but their leader is extremely strong.

"You're still holding on?! This is nice!" He yelled and swung his fist at me which i dodged.

I took out my small blade and stabbed one of his men at the abdomen, hearing him cry in pain. 4 more.

My breathing is getting ragged and my head is spinning. One of his men kicked me on my left leg, resulting an immediate reflex to kneel down.

"You son of a bitch. Attacking a girl with 9 of your men, like you can't do it yourself." I smirked and covered my face from being hit.

"You bitch!" He yelled.

Suddenly, their leader got kicked on the sides which made him flew away. I hesitantly uncovered my face and almost burst into tears seeing the person in front of me.

"How dare you touch her." Izana's voice was laced with hatred and anger.

The 3 men ran at him but that made his actions more easier. Succeeding in dodging and punched 3 of them in the face. Blood spurted out of their noses and ears as they lay on the ground almost lifelessly.

Lastly, he looked down towards their leader and kicked him in the face over and over again. That was the last scene that i witnessed before passing out.

My fingers twitched slightly and i opened my eyes only to be greeted by a dim lighting. My head was pounding.

"You're awake." A familiar voice broke the atmosphere.

"Izana-san." I tried to stand up but he held my body down. "You're injured, quit trying to move." I gulped and laid back.

He continued to sit down beside me and took out a small bottle of ointment. A cotton pad was dabbed onto it as he applied the substance to my upper cheek.

"Didn't you say that you weren't going to save me?"

He paused on his actions and looked at me straight into the eyes. "Yes, i did. But i told you that 'we' will not save you. I never said 'I' won't save you." He explained calmly.

"You don't have to next time. I'm just another mere servant, if i die, then it's my fault for not being able to protect myself-"

My sentence was cut off by a pair of soft and warm lips. Huh?

My eyes widened as ever while my hands clenched onto the bed sheets. He pulled away and placed another peck on my lips again.

"You're a different kind of servant. You're my servant and I'm not planning onto change to someone new anytime soon." He smiled softly.

I covered my face using the blanket knowing well my face was blushing like hell.

"Since when did you know how to say these things?"

"Ran told me the other day. He made me realise something too."

I peeked under the blankets and poked his cheeks. "What is it?" He leaned in closer, sneaking his way under the blankets and whispered into my ear

"I don't see you as a servant, i see you as a lover." He pulled away cheekily.

"What the?! You-"

"I like you, y/n-chan." He smiled.

Finally, he spoke his true feelings. Izana Kurokawa, you have no idea how long I've been waiting for this moment to happen.

I pulled his hand and embraced his cold body.

"I like you too, izana-kun."
