█▇▆▅▄▂▁ YOU LET OUT A SMALL YELP AS YOUR FEET STEPPED ON ONE OF
[C/N]'s SMALL TOYS. they giggled before crawling back onto the soft carpet with a huge smile. "[c/n] i told you to not leave your toys everywhere.." you sighed and rubbed your feet before picking it up and threw it inside the container.

"kazu, i'm going to the grocery store! think you can handle our little devil on your own?" you popped behind the door, seeing kazutora making up the bed. "of course i can, make sure to check the list i sent to you."

you hummed and kissed his cheek, exiting the room to find the little child. [c/n] was busy stacking up a few block of toys on the floor, chubby fingers grabbing the items carelessly. you crouched down and kissed their cheek, making sure to stay a bit longer. "i'm going out for a while, don't trouble your father too much okay?"

they giggled, babbling nonsense as your heart swell with happiness.

the list that kazutora had gave you was long. it's nothing surprising considering that the fridge is almost empty. you pushed the trolley, strolling around different sections.

"wait bell pepper? there's different colours..which one should i buy?" you mumbled under your breath, tilting the peppers to check their condition. kazutora didn't specify which one you should buy, what if you bought the wrong one? "meh, i can just call him." you fished out your phone and dialled his number. after a few rings, he picked it up and you could hear [c/n] babbling incoherent words near the phone.

you chuckled, feeling the warmth on your cheeks as you heard kazutora trying to calm him down.

"failing already? i thought you said buying the groceries is a piece of cake?" he teased and you groaned. "i'm not failing! it's just that..you told me to buy bell peppers right? there's different colours! how do i know which one should i buy? you didn't say anything either."

kazutora laughed on the other side of the phone line, he could already imagine you pouting with the usual duck face.

"we've been over this dummy..i always tell you to buy the red ones since its the sweetest. remember when i bought the green one and you said it was bitter?"

you hummed, picking a few red ones and placing them inside the trolley. "okay, now for the mushrooms..you didn't specify either! and i forgot which one we usually buy.."

"y/n...are you doing this on purpose? you know we could've gone together and
bring [c/n] too. ah! [c/n] don't push that i just cleaned it!!" you almost panicked hearing the loud thump as it clashes on the floor. "oi what happened? are you okay?"

"yeah don't worry hehe [c/n] pushed those plastic toys on the floor..i didn't realise their hands were reaching out for it." you smiled, indeed [c/n] is quite the troublemaker.

"ow [c/n] don't pull my hair, i'll chomp your fingers nya nya nya~." kazutora communicated with your child, you heard the rustling through the speaker and [c/n] laughing. "don't leave me out!" you grabbed both types of mushrooms anyways before going to the pasta section.

"should i buy those baby crackers? [c/n] seems to like them when chifuyu visited the other day."

"mmh please do, and buy some fruits as well especially grapes. i think [c/n]'s favourite are those..he's definitely taking in my traits!"

your eyes widened from his confidence, chuckling as you grabbed 2 packets of grapes and a few other fruits inside the trolley. "well isn't someone confident?"

your drive back home felt long as you couldn't wait to get home and spoil [c/n]. it wasn't that long since you were out but you had finally bought them a new set of clothes, it would look extra cute on them!

thankfully you were able to carry all the groceries at once despite the amount of bags.

after closing back the apartment door, it was completely silent. "huh?" you placed the groceries on the table counter while tiptoeing inside your room. they were not there either.. where could they be and why is it so quiet?

your overthinking ass almost thought they were abducted if it wasn't for the soft snores of [c/n] coming from the couch in the living room.

you silently peeked inside and saw kazutora laying down beside [c/n] on the couch. his arm were protectively wrapped around their shoulder, the other one under their head.

"so cute~." you squealed quietly and took out your phone to take a picture before taking off your jacket and scarf.

as gentle as you were, kazutora eventually slowly woke up, groggily rubbing his eyes while you press a soft kiss on his forehead. "it's okay baby, just sleep. i'll cook today so get all the rest you need." you whisper, stroking [c/n]'s hair softly before pecking their soft cheeks.

"mmh, did you buy everything?" he snuggled into [c/n], patting their back to provide more warmth and comfort. "yeah, did you clean everything up?" kazutora nods, giving you a small thumbs up before you realise he had fallen asleep again.

you chuckled, giving a quick kiss on both of their foreheads before mumbling,

"i love you both so much."

and you swore a smile formed on [c/n]'s lips once you said that.
