Rin Y/n, also known as one of mikey's best friend in toman. The both of them go way back, as they met at the age of 4.

"Mikey, i got you some dorayaki!" I smiled, passing 2 packets of his favourite snack. Mikey accepted it with a huge grin, hugging my arm in the process.

"Uwah, you're the best, y/n-chin!" He giggled and took a huge chomp of it.

Draken could only shake his head, witnessing how childish their leader is behaving. Today's a school day, but we've decided to visit takemitchy's school and surprisingly, mikey got slapped too. I almost laughed during the scene but luckily draken's figure was tall and huge so i could hide behind him.

"That takemitchy boy is surely interesting, he's really weird." I muttered. Mikey hummed along my statement as he finished the last bite of the dorayaki.

"Ken-chin, y/n-chin, let's go!"

With that, the both of us head for another toman's meeting at the Musashi Shrine. I secretly glanced at mikey, noticing my feelings are growing for him more each day.

I ate in silence.

At the moment, I'm currently having dinner with my parents at our dining table. The atmosphere was comfortable but too quiet.

"Say, y/n. Have you confessed to mikey yet?" My mother's statement almost made me choke on my grilled beef and I quickly downed some water. "W-what are you saying? There's no way I'm confessing to mikey. I don't even know wether he feels the same way or not." I stirred the soup with my spoon, staring at it mindlessly. "You should give it a try, who knows if he feels the same way." My father advised, a kind smile decorating his face.

The both of them are well aware about the whole gang and the stuff we do. They know, no matter how hard they try to convince me to quit, I won't.

It's because I've promised to stay by mikey's side forever.

That same night, i felt slightly feverish. My head was spinning and my throat felt sore.

"Y/n, i brought you some water and medicine. Just sleep and rest a lot." Mother caressed my hair, the look of worry filled her eyes. I grabbed her hand and smiled,

"I'm fine, maybe because i got caught in the rain 2 days ago, even if it's kind of late."

She left the room for me to rest peacefully as i close my eyes before darkness engulfs my vision.

MIKEY's POV

I peeked at the corner, wondering if y/n's on her way. She's 10 minutes late, very unusual.

"Mikey, i just got a text from y/n. She's having a fever and can't make it to school today. Let's visit her after school." Ken-chin stuffed his phone in his bag and we walked to school.

A fever?

"Why didn't you text me first?" I mumbled.

Apparently the 2 blonde boys wanted to visit me after school. I immediately called draken, hoping that they won't since I'm not in my best condition.

"[Hello?]" He answered.

I sighed in relief,

"Hey, can you not visit me today?"

"[Why not? You're sick and we even bought you some snacks.]" I rubbed my nape, thinking of an excuse.
