─────── "the hell are you talking about? you crazy?" baji sat down on the floor, he couldn't care less if the floor was dusty or if it was going to stain his school uniform. he took a bite of the peyoung yakisoba, slurping it as if it was his last meal.

you leaned against the railing, still thinking about the plan you had in mind. "but it would lead to the perfect opportunity! i can dig some dirt in valhalla and then i'll report it back to you then you can discuss it with the rest of the captains!" he wouldn't even look at you, baji's eyebrows scrunched at the thought of you joining valhalla. he wouldn't even let you come close to a gang member if they weren't toman.

"you thinking about it?"

you smiled cheekily, wiping the sauce from his cheek that had splattered all over from the slurping.

"like hell i am."

he looked away, trying to ignore the slight pink tint covering his face.

"y/n-san that idea isn't bad at all! i wonder why baji is so reluctant about it?" takemichi expressed his opinion while hina could only sigh at his answer.

"i know right! see, i knew you would get it takemichi! now i just need to tell this to mikey then maybe.....maybe he'll change his mind!" your eyes sparkled at the thought of wearing valhalla's uniform. don't get it wrong, you were loyal to toman but sometimes when the gang's uniform looks a little too cool then maybe you would want to try it on....right? still though, valhalla's intentions are not good therefore you would never join them willingly.

"hina-chan, what is your opinion?" you asked, looking at the younger female who was deep in thought.

to be honest, hina knew what was going on. she was able to piece two and two together! why was baji so reluctant on letting you proceed with your plan and why the other captains including mikey and draken were also not allowing you from continuing it. to summarise it up, baji keisuke secretly or maybe not..has feelings for you! no guy would let the girl he loves be in danger right?

"oh! um i think i agree with baji-kun and the rest...don't you think it's a bit dangerous,
y/n-san? i mean i don't know much about this whole gang stuff but if you were caught being you know a traitor in that gang or something things wouldn't turn out as great!"

hina sweat dropped from how intense you were staring at her. she couldn't tell if you knew baji's feelings for you or not. you weren't that oblivious but she was sure the long haired male's feelings are still unknown to you.

you hung on tight to baji's waist as he speeds up in between the cars. despite hanging around with a bunch on delinquents and being one, you were still not used to the feeling of riding a motorcycle which is nothing to be ashamed of!

"hey! why are you so hesitant about letting me join valhalla?" you half shouted at him, making sure he heard your question.

baji internally rolled his eyes at the same question. again?! wasn't it obvious to you that he didn't want you to get hurt? dragging you around back and forth with this whole gang stuff already made him feel as guilty.

"why would i want to put you in danger, dumbass.." he muttered just as soon as the motorcycle stopped at the red light.

"huh? what did you say?" your hands held onto his shoulder, trying to get a good look of baji's face as he avoids your eye contact.

"i said it's because your idea is stupid!"

he grabbed onto both of your hands and replaced them back around his waist, giving it a few pats before speeding up again.

you almost choked his torso from how fast he was going but you could only trust and admire the sight of his long hair blowing against the wind. not that it was hitting your face don't worry!

finally, you've arrived home. it was almost dark, still yet sunset but it was best to get home by now. you got off the motorcycle and dusted your clothes from the wrinkles. baji stared at you with a small grin,

"getting used to it?"

you nodded and smiled,

"definitely!" you bid him goodbye and started walking to your house but there was something you forgot to tell him about. baji was just about to start his motorcycle again but seeing you walking towards his way made him halt.

"y/n-"

"you know, if you were that worried of me getting hurt you could've just said so. and that's kind of sweet of you, keisuke!" you immediately smiled, once you saw his face was slowly turning red. a step closer, and you patted his head, letting your palm rustle against the softness of his jet black hair.

"i didn't say that, idiot! i was just-"

"yeah yeah you were just taking care of toman's reputation i know! but you're also looking out for me aren't you?"

he huffed, almost pouting.

"of course i am, why wouldn't i?"

because to him, to baji keisuke you are his most precious treasure. and he would be damned if anything were to happen to you just for the sake of the gang. because he wanted to show you many more things, and maybe....just maybe he might build the courage and ask you out.
