─── 𝗧𝗛𝗘 date was going smooth. Senju requested for you to win her a blue teddy bear with a small rose in it's hand from a random game.

And who were you to deny her request?

"Come on, y/n! You can do it, I'll give you a kiss if you succeed." Senju excitedly jumped in her place while staring at you with a huge smile.

"Is that my reward?" You asked softly, carefully to not miss the target.

"Yeah, I promise!"

Your smile grew wider as you threw the last ring on the bottle, earning the prize.

She squealed happily once the teddy bear was in her arms, hugging it tightly. A small tint of blush dusted her cheeks and you could only pat her head.

"Where's my reward, dove?"

She giggled from the nickname and was about to lean in for a kiss before you felt a few droplets of rain on your head.

It's raining.

"Ah shit, we need to find shelter!"

Senju agreed and grabbed your hand, running in the rain as the both of you head for the nearest souvenir shop of the amusement park. Unfortunately, you forgot to check the weather today, forgetting to bring an umbrella alongside the journey.

From the corner of your eye, you noticed a couple of guys in black nearing you.

Your eyes widened from the object he had in hand, it was a gun. Secretly, you turned to Senju who was busy searching for the shop earlier.

You were in the open, now was the perfect chance for them to attack.

Senju had always fear whenever the both of you were out in public, she was scared that you would get hurt from anything that was related to Brahman.

"Senju!"

You pulled her arm and hugged her from the back, while 3 gun shots filled the air.

Your arms held on her tighter, wishing to always keep her close like this. She wasn't what other people thought she was, Senju never had a true friend. That's why, you were more than happy to know that she made a friend, who's name was Hanagaki.

"Y-y/n.....?"

"YOU BASTARDS!" Out of the blue, Takemichi ran towards the guys with Draken trailing behind his back, ready with his fist swinging forward.

Your body went limp, falling onto the ground.

It hurts, everything hurts.

"Y/N!" Senju's attention was fully on you, knowing that Takemichi and Draken would be able to handle those guys with ease.

Your vision was slightly blurry, the stinging pain spread all over you body like an infection. Blood slowly started to seep out, staining the ground and mixing with the puddles from the rain.

"Senju, I got to protect you."

"For once, you weren't the one who protected me."

Akashi Senju, was crying.

Her face streamed down with tears, lips quivering.

"D-don't worry, y/n! I called the ambulance, they'll be here soon so don't close your eyes, okay?"

She immediately pulled you into her embrace, her chest rose up and down, heavy breaths.

"Senju, the light that guided me is you."

"I was drawn, and I broke into a run."

"While unaware, we started to cross."

Your hands gently cupped her cheeks, caressing her soft skin. Her eyes never left yours, you could feel her emotions pouring out.

"It's you, you who taught me that if the darkness shines too, then it'll become a night of stars."

"Dove, don't hide your sadness behind a laughing face anymore. Because all the twinkling stars will shine on you."

The memories of the time you spent together started to flood in, as if god was giving you one last time to reminisce all the good and happy memories.

From your first meeting with Senju, to your first kiss, to your first date.

"Kami-sama!"

You were startled when Senju yelled, her voice became loud and clear.

"KAMI-SAMA! PLEASE, JUST PLEASE DON'T TAKE MY Y/N AWAY FROM ME."

"THEIR THE SWEETEST MOST KINDEST PERSON IN THIS WHOLE WORLD EVEN THE ANGELS CAN'T COMPARE SO PLEASE DON'T TAKE THEM BACK."

"THEIR MY ANGEL, PLEASE I BEG OF YOU."

"Please...."

Senju trembled, she cradled you in her arms.

A soft smile broke onto your face,

"Senju, I love you."

"And I'll always will."

Every inch of energy was starting to leave your body, as if the spirit of life was being sucked away from your body in such a painful way.

"Y/n, please don't leave me. I promise I won't do anything reckless anymore, I'll cancel the battle between the 3 deities if that's what you want so...please don't leave me.." She sobbed into the crook of your neck, holding you tight.

"Next time, I promise to stay by your side forever."

That was the last time Senju saw you smile, never forgetting the way you exhaled your last breath in her arms.

Never in her life, did she ever though such a tragedy.
