─── 𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗬 scents of roses filled the air as you gently watered the flower with a small smile.

Yet again, today is another peaceful day.

Your cat, Maru was sleeping soundly on the counter with his tail flat on the surface. The sky was bright, signalling that it won't be raining any time soon.

"I should start on with the lobelias now."

Just as you were about to head to the back of the store, the bell above the door jingled.

Light footsteps strode towards your way, as the customer looked around. The scar on the left side of his eye looked unique to you, it must've been quite the experience from the past.

"I'd like to buy some purple hyacinth please."

His eye meet yours in a swift second before he turned away with a stoic expression.

"Of course!" You smiled, quickly heading over to meet his orders.

While you were arranging the flowers, curious thoughts couldn't help but sneak into your mind.

Purple hyacinth means forgiveness and regret.

But, your job doesn't require for you to pry into your customers demands, therefore such conspiracies or wonders shouldn't be interrupting you.

He paid with a credit card and left.

The sight of his figure grew smaller and smaller before he disappeared amongst the rest of the other people.

It was already the next day.

Unfortunately, it had rain quite a lot last night which resulted for some of your flower decorations outside to be ruined. There were a few droplets of water that kept on dripping from the roof since morning.

"Hmm, what should I have for dinner today?"

You silently mumbled to yourself, otherwise working alone could be boring.

"Would some miso ramen do the trick? I can visit Shota-san's shop again."

"You quite like talking to yourself, huh?"

The sudden deep voice startled you out of the blue before you quickly stood up and dusted your shirt to get rid of the dusts or dirt from the ground.

"S-sorry about that, are you here to buy some flowers again?" It was the same guy from yesterday.

Today, he was wearing a casual clothing unlike yesterday with a complete formal suit.

It is undeniable, but the man does look stunning in a black turtleneck.

"Yes, if you don't mind."

"I hope you don't mind my cat sleeping near you, he likes to sleep every chance he gets." You nervously began to prepare his order with a smile.

"It's alright, I'm quite fond of cats."

He gently caressed the top of Maru's head with his right hand while waiting. But all of a sudden, there was a loud hiss coming from the cat and a low grunt.

Maru immediately ran to the back of the shop and you quickly rushed over to him.

It appears that Maru had scratched his hand till his palm, there was lines of blood dripping out.
