He stared at your figure who was busy playing tag with mikey and baji, gathering up all the energy to jump and avoid smiley, who was being the little shit he is, throwing plastic bottles at them so they could be 'it'. Eventhough, that doesn't count but you know how he is.

"You're not playing with them?" Mitsuya suddenly showed up beside sanzu, careful to approach the quiet boy.

"Why would i?" He didn't mean to come out as harsh but he couldn't help it. Sanzu likes being alone. He doesn't like talking to other people, hell he doesn't even like meeting them. Sometimes, he would feel like ditching some of the toman meetings but he knows it would smudge the name of the 5th division.

You ran up to him and hid behind his back, peeking slightly for smiley.

"Sanzu-kun, be my shield for a while." You whispered, tugging his sleeves just in case. He hums stoically, trying not to sound interested. "You're pretty good at this, y/n. Looks like fun." Mitsuya chuckled. You looked up to him and smiled,

"It is! Although, angry is better at being 'it' since he doesn't cheat!"

Not long enough, smiley was just a few metres from us.

"Aha! I see you, y/n!" Smiley grins, wriggling his fingers like he's about to kidnap a little kid. "Uh oh." You mumbled before searching any other open spaces to run. But then, sanzu immediately pulls your hand and you both started running away.

"What the? Hey, get back here!" Smiley yells in confusion and began running after us.

While running, you couldn't help but stare at sanzu's side profile. He looked calm, poker face remains even if we're running like wild animals. His long hair was pushed back due to the wind, revealing more of his face. We saw a black car parked in between a good hiding spot so sanzu pushes you in first followed by himself after.

"It's-"

"Shh."

He was panting, it was hard to breathe under the black mask. Gently, you tucked his hair behind his left ear and grinned cheekily. Sanzu's eyes widened from the sudden contact but he was more than glad for his mask to hide his pink cheeks.

"Thank you for just now! I'm not usually competitive in these type of stuff but since smile and i made a bet, i really want to win!"

He raised an eyebrow, leaning closer to your face.

"What bet?"

The both of you heard footsteps running near your spot and everything went silent.

"Oi, y/n! Where the hell are you?" Smiley yelled and looked around.

Sanzu's upper body was slightly exposed and so you pulled him closer.

"Wha-"

"Shh." You replied, pressing a finger on his lips. He mentally rolled his eyes and smiled silently. Smiley then left to find someone else after minutes searching for you.

You let out a sigh of relief, leaning your head to the back of the car.

"I made a bet with smiley, that is if he wins, then i have to confess to my crush!"

Sanzu almost choked on his own saliva, looking at you in surprise. "You have a crush?" His heart was starting to race in anticipation. There were thousands of questions surrounding his mind at the moment. "Yeah, can't i?" He shrugs and walked away.

"Hey, wait! I'll give you a clue, he's in toman!"

Sanzu wanted you to tell him the name of your crush, like hell he would play a guessing game at times like this.
