Surprise !?

I took my phone and dialed Siddarth's number.

" Hello, can I talk to Mr. Siddarth Lamba please ?" I asked.

" Speaking. " he said.

" Umm . Hiee. It's me Payal , are you free tonight ?" I asked.

" One. I know you're Payal , two don't get soo formal , three , name the place and I'll meet you there." He said.

" Okay. So , will you be able to come to my place for dinner today ?" I asked.

" Yeah. Sure , but if I get to cook." He said.

" Um. Sure." I said.

" Okay , I'll be at your place by 6:30pm sharp." He said.

" Done." I said .

"Okay then ! Bye.. " he said.

" Bye. See ypu soon" I said and ended the call.

I turned around to my brother.

"Let's give him a surprise sis !" Exclaimed my brother.

"Yea. But the problem is he's coming early to cook ! He knows I can't cook ! " I said with slightly disappointment filled in my voice.

" It's fine. Tell him you're hungry or you like what he's making so ask him to cook extra." Said my brother.

"But then when will you come ?" I asked.

" I'll be at your place , in your library. " Said my brother with a wicked smile.

" Okay. You're really evil at times. " I said.

" Yes. I am." He said.

" Just don't start harassing him okay ? This is a friendly meeting , a good surprise ?" I tried to remind him.

" Yea. I know" he said and put his arm around my shoulder.

" Let's go and have lunch then." I said.

We went to the dining room , our parents were already waiting for us.

Even Nikki was at the table , yes, she ate with us only , she's like mom and dad's most youngest daughter !

" What's there for lunch ?" I ask as I sit next to Nikki.

" Roti , Rajma and Rice." Said my mom.

Then one of our help started serving us.

The food to be honest was heavenly ! Delicious ! Wish I could cook ! Why was I so bad at cooking ?

" So , maa , I'm going to Payal's place after lunch , I'll come back maybe after dinner only." Said Kabir Bhayya.

"Okay. Then I'll telk them to cook dinner for three. " Said my mom.

" What are you guys planning ?" Asked my dad.

" Apparently , someone's gonna get surprised at Payal's place by their idol's special appearance !" said Kabir Bhayya.

" You sound soo cryptic !" Said my mom.

" He's talking like those scheming villains in hindi serials. " laughed Nikki.

" I know right ! " I said.

" Whatever you guys are planning , carry on. Just don't hurt someone. " Said my dad.

" Daad ! It's just a friendly meeting between me and Siddarth Lamba. " Said Kabir Bhayya.

" Yeah. You Better emphasize more on the word 'FRIENDLY' " Said my mom.

" Don't worry mom. I know how to make new friends. " Said my brother.
