Clue ~ Arman's POV

Oh ! Wait ! How the hell on this freaking earth did I think no one's gonna feel Payal's absence.

As soon as I had finished going through all the paperwork , I had left for Payal's parents house , and that's where I found police cars , detectives and media. A never ending list you see.

" What's wrong ? " I asked Jai who was at the entrance.

" Don't you know ? Payal and Sidharth are missing ! " he said.

I tried to act as shocked as I could.

But he knew me well , he always caught my lies , he could tell if I'd eaten a single gummy bear from his share ! Jai the Lie Detector Machine.

" Is there something you wanna tell me ? " he asked.

" No. . Nothing. . " I hesitated.

" Yes . There is. You know where Payal is ! Right ! " he whispered in my ear furiously.

"Me and Arman are going to check up on Daisy , call us if something comes up. " Jai said.

Mr. Lamba nodded .

We took the back gate and headed to Jai's private flat where Daisy was supposed to meet us.

The ride was full of silence and distrust. Because Jai didn't seem to trust me.

When we reached his home I told them it wasn't safe to talk anywhere but my secret hideout.
And yep I revealed my true occupation on our way to my hideout. Secret Agent and PI.

They didn't seem shocked , crazy was the normal now.

When we reached my hideout , I heard a voice . Ya she was awake, the drugs had worn off.

"Is it who I think it is ? " asked Jai.

"Yeah . " I replied .

Jai followed the voice and was furious.
Chavi was still tied up.
Daisy watching dumbfounded.

" Tell me who is trying to hurt Payal or else you'll be dead. " Jai screamed at Chavi.

"Are you delusional ? " she laughed.

" You don't need to tell me where she is ! I know where she is ! " Arman said .

" Just tell us why are you doing this ? Who is doing this ? We'll give you anything you ask for. " said Daisy patiently.

" Look closely. The graves have been dug out . Skeltons from the closets have been unleashed. If You think you know everything , you're insane . And your Everything's just a Mirage ." Said Chavi . I knew she would not have uttered a word unless and until she wanted something in return.

" Oh my god ! I'll go crazy if I ever hear her talk again. I'm leaving this room. She's giving me goosebumps. " said Daisy .

" She's not helping. Arman , do you have anything figured out ? " asked Jai.

I don't think Chavi is messing with us. Whatever cryptic message she's trying to give is not helping , but I sure as heck know she's doing this for something in return.

"Who said I'm not helping , I gave you everything you needed and you need to give me back my files , Arman. " said Chavi.

"What files ? " asked Arman.

" Tropojë , you know very well. " said Chavi.

"And why would I do that? " asked Arman .

"Because I basically handed over every piece of information about Payal's disappearance to you. " said Chavi.

"NO !! You didn't ! " he shouted.

" YES ! I did ! And if you call yourself a Secret Service Agent ! Ypu better figure it out before it's too late . " she said .

"Swear upon you daughter ! " said Jai.

She raised her eyebrows.

"Swear upon your daughter or else you won't be able to see her if something happens to Payal. " said Jai

" I swear upon my daughter. You give me the files and let me go . " said Chavi.

"Nice try. But you're not going anywhere until and unless I find who's behind all of this. " said Arman .

They left the room and locked it up.

"So any idea what this is all about ? " asked Daisy.

"I am working on it. " said Arman .

"Well work fast ! Cuz you're running out of time ! " shouted Jai.

"Siddharth and Payal are in Seattle. " Arman said.

" And how do you know that for sure. ?" Asked Daisy.

"Payal's not stupid, when she left with Siddharth , she left a note behind for one of us to find, amd the note was under the novel . The story's setting is in Seattle . So she left it for us as a clue. " said Arman.

"So let's go to Seattle ! And get them back here !" Said Daisy.

" I don't think that's how it works. " Arman said.

"Then how does it work ? " asked Daisy.

"See its been 48 hours and there's no one missing from my suspect list , something is just not right. " said Arman.
