Chap 11- A Fantastic Collaboration

"It's gone?" Yoongi seems to be fully awake now. He fixes Namjoon and Hoseok with a sharp glare.

"Hyung, I'm sorry. We just wanted to hear it, and......" Hoseok looks down feeling ashamed.

"I'm so sorry, mate..." Namjoon couldn't seem to say more as he felt so guilty.

"Sorry won't bring back a deleted song, will it? Don't talk to me unless you know how to get it back"

Hoseok and Namjoon tell me everything that happened in the room, their faces glum.

"You should have been more careful. Yoongi takes stuff like this seriously" I say.

"We liked the draft so much that we wanted to listen to it again. And then......disaster struck" Hoseok sigh.

"I really must be the God of Destruction.... This is all my fault" Namjoon says looking more guilty than before.

Should I have tried to comfort them first?

Namjoon seems to make up his mind right then and there. He grabs Hoseok and drags him along.

"Huh? Guys, where are you going?" I ask.

"This is the only way we'll see Yoongi hyung again" Namjoon replies, the two of them barricade themselves in their room.

A few days pass~

Only four members- Seokjin, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook- greet me in the living room.

"Where are the rest of you?" I ask, putting down the chicken wings boxes I got for them.

"Yoongi hyung's in the studio.....as always" Jungkook says.

"Hoseok and Namjoon have locked themselves in their room, too. They won't come out" Seokjin sighs.

"Is locking yourself in your room a trend these days? I should take notes!" Taehyung says.

"How can this be? First Yoongi, and now both Hoseok and Namjoon-"

I got interrupted by the door to Hoseok and Namjoon's room slowly opening. They stagger out to the living room, both sporting VERY dark circles beneath their eyes.

"It's....its done!" Hoseok and Namjoon tiredly smiles and hold up a USB drive.

We all head towards Yoongi's room, knocked and waited for him to open the door for us.

"You.....recreated it?" Yoongi takes the USB, a disinterested look on his face.

"Namjoon and I both made it. I didn't remember what the bridge sounded like, so I put my own twist in it" Hoseok says.

Yoongi wordlessly presses play. Hoseok and Namjoon swallow nervously.

"I had a lot of trouble with the bridge myself. You have an ear for songwriting" Yoongi says, giving a side glance at Hoseok as he listens to the song.

"Oh....really?" Hoseok asks surprised.

"Why'd you shift it to major key?" Yoongi asks curiosity it his voice.

"I thought it'd be nice for the bridge to switch to a brighter tone instead of keeping it moody. I probably shouldn't have, it had your flair in it." Hoseok says, his head low.

"No, your combination makes mine much more obvious. And this beat right here. It's Namjoon's, right? It screams Kim Namjoon" Yoongi gazes at Namjoon.

"Yeah. If you don't like it-"

"Do you want to work with me?" Yoongi asks, giving Hoseok and Namjoon each a separate glance.

Hoseok and Namjoon's eyed widen as they gave each other a shocked look before staring at Yoongi again.

"It's better to work together than alone" Yoongi grins, his gummy smile on full display. Hoseok and Namjoon shared a bro hug, the other members joining them as I watch all of them by the door.

What's going on? This is making me feel all warm and fuzzy.
