Chap 63: Stigma

"Taehyung... Why are you wearing a suit so early in the morning? You're supposed to go record your solo track today" Jimin seems surprised to encounter a sharp-dressed Taehyung first thing in the morning.

"Right, today's the day. So, about that..... How do I look?" Taehyung drips his voice down a few octaves and fixes Jimin with an expectant look as he awaits an answer.

"It's cute??" Jimin answers.

Taehyung asks the others the same question, but their answers are all the same.

"Hey, Taehyung, you look cute! How do you look so cute no matter what you wear?" Namjoon praised.

"There's no need to describe Taehyung's cuteness in words. Come here! Hyung wants to pinch you" Hoseok marches towards Taehyung in excitement.

"Whoa, hyung! You look like a kid gentlemen. That's adorable!" Jungkook beams.

After everyone gives the same opinion, Taehyung stalks back to his bedroom.

"Augh, that's disappointing.... I need to be at my coolest, deadliest, and most charming for today's recording" Taehyung mumbles to himself, groaning.

Then, he spots an album by his favorite Jazz artist lying on the table, and gets an idea.

"Big Taehyung! Prosperous hyung! I'm Kim Taehyung! I'm going to make everyone say that I'm positively fatal just like this hyung here!" Taehyung was fired up.

And so..... Taehyung's journey to being positively fatal begins.

"Taehyung, is there anything you want to eat before you go record today? Let me know. I'll make whatever you want" Seokjin calls out.

"No" Taehyung pokes his head out of the room, and walks toward the living room.

"It's okay, it really is. I can even make handmade gourmet hamburgers for you" Seokjin says.

"Really?!.... No thank you" Taehyung got excited for a moment but he quickly recovered from it.

"Taehyung, saying no to burgers! Hey Taehyung, what's wrong? Are you too nervous to eat?" Hoseok asks worried, taking a seat next to Taehyung on the couch.

"No, no.... It's not that......" Taehyung shakes his head.

"Ah, adorable! I'll go cheer you on lager. Do your best! Handmade burgers and cola sound good?" Seokjin asks, his steps towards the kitchen.

"Yes. Don't forget the ketchup, please..." Sighing Taehyung says.

I got called 'adorable' again.... I guess that methods not good, But I have another plan up my sleeve! Taehyung thinks to himself.

After some time later.....

"Who turned the music on so loud? And why are all the lights in the dorm off?" Yoongi's voice boomed in the dorm.

"I'm not sure. This is a jazz song that Taehyung really likes...." Namjoon answers.

"Whoever it was, they woke up Yoongi hyung!! Where's Tae hyung right now?" Jungkook asks, glancing at Yoongi nervously.

"Let's turn the music off and turn the lights on first" Jimin suggests.

Suddenly, Taehyung bursts out of his room- and begins playing his saxophone to the song.

"Everyone! All eyes on me for a moment! I'm going to play one of my favorite jazz artists hyung's songs for you"

The other members stand rooted to the spot in surprise. Taehyung mistakes their groans for expressions of admiration.
