Chap 34- Paldogangsan

"Okay everyone's here! Let's get this on the road!" I ask as soon as the members got into the van.

"Where are we going today?" Hoseok asks once they boys mumbled a 'yeah', 'yes' 'all here' to my question.

"Today....."

From Seoul, Gagwon, to Gyeongsang, Chungcheong to Jeolla. It's high summer-festival season. The Bangtan Boys have come back with N.O and are traveling every corner of the Korean peninsula. From Nonsan's Strawberry Festival......

"It's strawberry - flavored - such a liar - Strawberry - you're such a hypocrite" 🎶

"My grandma has a friend who grows strawberries. The stems of fresh strawberries stick right up" Taehyung says as he holds up a Strawberry on his hand.

"Oh, Taehyung seems to know quiet a bit about strawberries" Yoongi states amused.

"When the stems droop like this, stick them back up before you eat them and they'll taste fresher" Taehyung adds.

"Okay, nevermind" Yoongi mumbles.

...... To Heongseong's Korean Beef Festival.

"Everybody say Moo - later is not an option anymore" 🎶

"Phew, today's performance was amazing, too. Huh? Where's Jungkook?" Hoseok asks as soon as they finished their performance.

"Jungkook is....over there" Taehyung scanned over the area and spotted the said boy.

"He's eating beef" Jimin says chuckling.

"He's had 10 servings already" Seokjin points to the empty plates besides Jungkook.

"Can I have another plate?" We shared each other a look when we heard Jungkook asking for more.

.......and even YangJo's Cotton Festival

"Who are we? Who? We're rising BTS" 🎶

"Kim Taehyung? What are you doing at the cotton field?" Jimin asks as he spotted his bestfriend in the cotton field.

"Shhh...im concentrating. I'm putting cotton seeds in my pen cap. I'm gonna take them back to our dorm. Call me V, Kjeom. Haha" Taehyung starts to laugh.

"Manager, he's being weird" Jimin tells me as we chuckled knowing all too well that that's how Taehyung is.

We went whenever there was a stage available for the Bangtan Boys to stand on. That also meant that we ended up with some.....unexpected extras.

"Arghhh... Manager! There's too much extra stuff in the van!" Jimin starts to complain as soon as we got in the van.

"Yeah. It's like riding a regional specialist exhibit. We could open a road show" Yoongi says not liking it a slight bit.

"Jungkook, how can you feel like eating dried seaweed in a place like this?" Namjoon asks surprised.

"Oh, we're close to Gyeongsang province now!" Jimin mentions.

"Ah, Gyeongsang province?" Jungkook asks looking out the window.

"Gyeongsang's province is amazing, you know?" Yoongi tells us.

"Oh, we're almost to Joella province now!" Jimin exclaims excitedly wanting to get out of the stuffed van.

"Hyung, we have that too! Have you eaten? This bibimbap is the best!" Hoseok turns the boys attention to the bibimbap on his hands.

Im driving with a smile on my face, when sudden jolt of realization washes over me.

*Screeeeech!*

"Ah, that was scary! Manager, what's wrong?" Seokjin asks me.

"I think I forgot something important. Something really important" I say.

"Something really important? What did you forget?" Hoseok asks.

"Count the number of people in the van, minus me..." I say turning to my back to face the boys.

"One, two, three, four, five, six..... Six?!" Namjoon obliges.

"Wow, that's freaky. I thought it was Taehyung in the back seat, but it's the bamboo wide we got from the bamboo festival" Jungkook says pointing behind his back.

"I think we left him at the plum festival we just left..." Jimin mentions.

"Taehyung's alone in an unfamiliar place. He must be looking for us. Oh, no...." I mumble turning the van around and head back to the plum festival.

"Taehyung! Kim Taehyung!" Yoongi was the first one to get out of the van.

We all split up to look for him, but it isn't easy.

"Excuse me! Have you seen a blonde, wide-eyed, really mischievous looking kid around here?" Seokjin asks the mayor.

"Blonde.... Do you mean or young next mayor?" The mayor ask.

"Next.... Mayor?" Seokjin asks giving me a look.

"Way over that way. By the big plum tree!" Seokjin and I rushed to the pointed place.

"You don't smile at me on purpose! Your cold to me on purpose" 🎶

There's someone singing folk songs with the village elders under the plum tree.

"Thank you very much! My name is Kim Taehyung and that was just a little tune" Taehyung says bowing.

"Wow! How is a young man like you so pretty and so good at singing?" One of the elder speaks.

Awwn Ajhumma I know right!!!

"He'll be a great leader! He's going to be a polar for our plum farming. I feel so happy just looking at him" Another elder speaks.

Oh shit no!

"Tae-Taehyung! There you are" I call out.

"Oh, Manager! You're finally here. I was just chatting with everyone" Taehyung waves as he saw Seokjin and i with the rest of the worried members.

"Where are you going? No, you can't leave!" The elders got up from there seated position as Taehyung walked towards us to leave.

"Congrats on your new calf, and for your cousin's daughter getting a perfect score on her dictation test! I'll write letters when I get to Seoul. Promise"

Taehyung endeared himself to the Village elders in our absence, but we finally get him back to the van.

"Taehyung's need friends send us off with a ton of plums..." I say letting out a nervous laugh.

"Our cramped van just got even more cramped" Jimin sighs.

"It's smells really nice, though doesn't it?" Taehyung asks as he sniffs.

"...... Huh...."

"What's wrong Yoongi hyung?" Jungkook asks.

"I think forgot Namjoon" Yoongi says pointing next to him where Namjoon was supposed to be.

"Damn hip hop pride idol rappe? Cut that bull. They say I'm just idol trash and ignore me"🎶

" Okay..... I'll wrap it up there. Thank you, this was RM. Mic drop" Namjoon says finishing up his rap.

"Is that a song or an incantation?" An elder asks Namjoon confused.

"Hmmm. No. I don't think you're cut out to be our next mayor. Fail! That's a fail!" Another elder screams.

"Manager... When are you coming back?" Namjoon mumbles not wanting to be there.
