Chap 23- Sweetly and Secretly

-Author's POV-

The group sits on the couch in a solemn mood.

"This is no good. D-day for our debut performance is right around the corner, and we've still got do much to do!" Seokjin groans.

"You're right, hyung. We need go be more prepared" Jimin says agreeing.

"Don't worry. We've got time" Hoseok gently rests his hand on Jimin's slouched shoulder.

"You're right. Let's start practicing!" Taehyung says getting up from the couch.

"Brand new it's the Bangtan Boys! Welcome to our show. Could you say a few words for our viewers and your future fans?" Taehyung asks, doing a hand mic.

"We hope you'll keep watching us and supporting us. We'll try our best to give you a great performance" Namjoon answers seriously.

"Wow... You're good. When did you practice those interview lines, hyung?" Jungkook asks clearly impressed.

"Jungkook, interview lines don't come from practice. They come from the heart" Namjoon says pointing towards his heart flashing a simple smile.

"You have a very unique group name. Please tell us what Bangtan Boys means" Taehyung continued with interview.

"As you know Bangtan -bulletproof- means blocking bullets that are aimed at us. For us bullets are prejustice, the oppression that our generations faces every day. We want to protect our generations identity and values by blocking those bullets as the bulletproof boys" Hoseok was the one who answered.

"Our Manager came up with our name, and we all LOVE it" Yoongi sarcastically added.

"Yoongi, you're so good at saying things you don't mean" Seokjin says.

They continue the practice interview as though it's real.

"It's all about 'attitude'. We should embody our attitude both on and off stage" Namjoon reminds them.

"I don't think I can do it. I feel so shy" Jimin says.

"Hyung attitude isn't everything for idol groups" Jungkook pulls a paper and a pen out of his pocket and starts to sign autographs.

"However, AUTOGRAPHS, are an absolute necessity." Jungkook says.

"Wow, Maknae knows exactly what we need! Can you sign something for me?" Seokjin asks. Jungkook pretends not to hear Seokjin and continues practicing his autographs.

"Ha! That's fine. I have something more awesome and practical!" Seokjin scoffs.

"What? What is it?" Taehyung asks.

"Voice impressions for a variety TV show!" Seokjin states.

"You can imitate voices?" Jimin asks shocked.

"Get ready, because I'm going to blow your mind" All eyes we're on Seokjins, waiting to be impressed. Seokjin clears his throat.

"Neighhhhhh!"

The members were quiet.

"I've got to get warmed up. Let me try again... Neeiiighhhhhhhh!" Seokjin clears his throat once more and says.

"Hyung, please never, ever do that on a show. No matter what" Yoongi says in a serious tone.

"What? Why? You didn't get it? I'm a horse!" Seokjin says.

"How about you imitate a squeegee on a window? All you have to do is laugh" Jungkook suggests.

"Hey, I don't sound like that. Squeeeeeeek!" Seokjin denies.

Everyone's having fun practicing.

"Practicing how to entertain people is important, but! After all, the most important thing we need to be prepared for is to be genuine for our fans" Namjoon tells his members the important thing.

The rest of the group nods in agreement.

"If we get go have Bangtan fans, how can we thank them for their support?" Taehyung asks, being curious.

"Hmm...fan meetings, album signing events. There are plenty of ways to express our gratitude" Yoongi list some out loud.

"Hey.....don't we already a fan who's always there for us?" Jimin says out loud remembering their 'BangtanFan'.

Youngi's eyes widen.
