Chap 36- Never Mind

"Guys it's time to wake up-"

"Manager!! You're late!" Jungkook says loudly.

"Huh? What are you doing up early? What are ALL of you doing up so early?" I say glancing around the living room where all of them were up and ready to go.

Normally you'd be all begging me for 5 more minutes.

"My eyes just opened on their own" Jin says.

"It's because it's the day we've all been waiting for - Award show day!" Taehyung's squarish smile is way bigger than usual.

"Seeing this reminds you that the kids are really kids, right? Haha"

"You're the on who kept tossing and turning because you were nervous, hyung!" Jimin reveals Yoongi.

They change their roommates once in a weeks or so, to get to know each other better. And I think it's a great idea.

Someone behind me suddenly taps my shoulder.

"Manager. There was a package delivered this morning?" Jungkook says.

It looks like the outfits I ordered for the show arrived!

"Oh, right! Want to try on the outfits?" I suggests them.

"Oh my..... We must really be going to the awards show!" Taehyung exclaims as he walked out of the room changed, the others hot on his trails.

"Wow.... Goodness. Everyone looks so cool!" I praised them.

The members stand awkwardly not used to wearing suits.

Oh don't you worry you'll get used to it just fine!

"This is the first time I've worn something like this..." Jimin confess, adjusting his suit tie.

"Same! I feel like an adult in this" Jungkook grins.

"Did you guys know it's polite to take off your shoes and walk barefoot on the red carpet?" Seokjin suddenly says.

What the.....

"Wow... Who would believe an obvious lie like that one, hyung?" Hosoek laughs.

"He wasn't being serious? I guess not..." Jimin whispers.

"Hurry and put them back on" Jungkook whispers back as they both tied their shoes in a hurry.

Taehyung who had been quietly removing his shoes in the corner, flinches and quickly puts them back on.

"Okay, pretend this red carpet goes all the way to the photo wall! They'll take tons of photos of you, so practice posing!" I say.

"From your hands like they're holding an egg and look straight ahead. The angle of your head is important, too. Like this, okay, how do I look?" Seokjin asks.

"Wow, hyung..... I thought you were a robot" Jungkook says laughing.

"Wow... This is hard. I just keep getting nervous" Hoseok let's out a sigh.

It seems like nerves are really getting to everyone.

"Everyone's like this at first. Let's just be ourselves. We don't have to try so hard to look good" Namjoon says, reassuring them.

"How are you not nervous at all, hyung?" Jimin asks surprised.

"Hah.... Is it because he's the leader?" Seokjin asks. Namjoon responds with a smile.

"Just walking the red carpet is nerve-cracking. How would we give a speech?" Hoseok asks.

"Well.... I don't even expect that to happen" Something falls out of Namjoon's sleeves as he waves his hands.

What's this? A note?

First , I'd really like to thank my fellow Bangtan Boys...

There's a whole acceptance speech complete with revisions scribbled in the margins written on the paper.

"Manager!!! Did you.....read that?" Namjoon asks as he noticed I had his speech notes.

"Look at our leader, so prepared!" I tiptoed barely reaching Namjoon's shoulder giving an awkward pat at his chest.

"Ah.... I didn't write it because I think we're going to win. I wrote is just....just in case. It'd be a missed opportunity if we did win and didn't have anything to say. It would be such an honor to stand there" Namjoon scratches his head, embarrassed.

"I think we have to get going soon, haha" Yoongi informed us.

He been laughing, it's usually not like him. I'mma keep an eye on Yoongi.

*In the Van*

"Wanna know what you can never eat in the morning?" Seokjin breaks the silence

"What?" Taehyung asks.

"Lunch" Seokjin bursts into laughter.

"Pffffttt..." Jimin joining him.

"Hahaha.... What? Hyung. Stop it. My stomach hurts from laughing too much, haha" Yoongi says laying his hands on his stomach as he laughed.

"Yeah, hyung, you don't have to try so hard. We're a lot less tense than before" Hoseok says.

"Okay. I'll stop now. I was running out of material,to be honest" Jin must be worried about the younger members. He's been cracking jokes non-stop.

"Hahaha... Hahaha"

"You're quiet generous with your laughter today, hyung" Jimin says, looking at Yoongi amused.

"Haha.. Haha"

"Was what he said really that funny?" Jungkook asks confused.

The van were in stops at a red light. Yoongi's doubled over in laughter as he taps on my shoulder.

I turned around to him in realization.

"Yoongi? Wait. He's burning up!!!"
