The young water nymph woke up, and quickly attempted to sit up. However, it was for naught, as straps around her chest, stomach, and arms stopped her. Nori also had straps on her legs.
Nori didn't remember much of how she got where she was. She recalled she was swimming, then her back suddenly hurt, as if she had got stabbed with a tiny needle, and the rest was a blur.
Nori looked around the room. She wasn't the only person strapped down, it seemed. To her left was what looked like a female deer person, passed out, with a muzzle on. To her right, a male cyberican, with a large hole in his leg.
A loud thrashing sound got her attention, and she lifted her head as much as she could. Across from her, a satyr was struggling in an attempt to escape. He made very loud noises, apparently loud enough to awaken another person, to his left. A female fae began to stir, and she soon saw her situation. She shrieked.
"OH NO! WE'RE HERE! THE WORST PLACE IN ALL OF THE SIX SECTORS!! THIS IS BAD, THIS IS BAD!!" She screamed, now struggling herself.
"Wait, we're where?" The light, melodic voice that belonged to none other than the blue eyed water nymph spoke up, "I don't remember much of what happened before I woke up here." The fae looked at her, flabbergasted.
"Don't you know? We're here. The Forbidden Sector of Science. We're at Ijetix." The scared female emphasized.
"We are!?" Nori shrieked. She wasn't prepared for this at all! She was going to be experimented on, and who knows how long she had left to live. As her panic rose, she started to struggle again.
"Yes, we are," The Satyr from before said, "And there's no use trying to struggle… I bet they made adjustments based on everyone. Take Nassa for example, she has a muzzle on!" He gestures towards the still sleeping deer person. Kaithenne nodded fearfully.
"Yeah, same with that boy there." She nodded her head toward the injured male. "I caught a glimpse of him and his dragon friend before they knocked me out and put me here. He sounded like a girl, but he was trying to not get separated from his pet." The fae girl turned her head to Nori. "I'm Kaithenne Woodsley. I'm from Oncewynn."
"I'm Nori, originally hailing from outside The Six Sectors, but I reside- er, resided, in Pacifi," Nori introduced herself. A Oncewynnian? She had never met one of those before.
"Saturn of Lerivia at your service, madames, or I would be if I wasn't strapped down," The satyr said. Kaithenne smiled at him.
"It's a pleasure of mine, Saturn." Kaithenne looked at the deer girl and cyberican boy. "I wonder who they are."
"Well, that's Nassa Alkippe Meridian of Lerivia," Saturn says, pointing his hoof at the deer person, "And I honestly just hope she got to eat something."
"Hm? Why?" Nori asked curiously. The girl did seem unhealthily skinny, but Saturn spoke with an urgency that gestured to something more.
"Is she sickly?" Kaithenne asked, cocking her head a bit.
"I don't think she'd like it if I said. You'll find out soon enough, when she wakes up, probably," Saturn says, "And if you don't, well, you don't need to know."
Nori frowned. Why hint at something if you aren't going to say what it is? Saturn had started to annoy her, and they had only been conversing for a few minutes. She let out a long, irritated sigh.
"I think she's waking up!" Kaithenne pointed her foot at Nassa.
The deer girl was, in fact, waking up. She opened her eyes, then let out a loud, inhuman, and non-deer, growl.
Nori was taken aback, and scooted back from her the little bit she could. What exactly was Nassa? She wasn't very knowledgeable about Lerivian species, but deer people did NOT make that kind of sound.
"Morning sleeping beauty," Saturn comments.
"Saturn, I do NOT need your jokes right now," Nassa glared at the aforementioned satyr. Kaithenne tried to wave.
"Hi! I'm Kaithenne Woodsley of Oncewynn. Say, would you know who that is?" She pointed her foot at the still out Cyberican. The large yellow doorwings looked awkward on the bed.
Nassa looked at the cyberican, before suddenly holding her breath. "Hey, what's wrong?" Nori asked confusedly.
"He probably smells like blood," Saturn says, "I mean, my sense of smell isn't terrific, but I can see a huge wound on his leg." As if on cue, the male awakened, opening blue hazy eyes. He groaned, turning his head to the side. He was very badly injured on his leg, and even seemed out of it himself.
"Hello there," Nori says, "I'm Nori, that's Nassa, and Kaithenne, and the satyr is named Saturn. Who are you?" The Cyberican turned his head to her.
"I'm Heliosray Wheeldon of Synthcy. I…." His eyes snapped open. "ENERGON!" He began to struggle, and it caused him to suddenly cry out in pain. He panted, and tears were seen beginning to drizzle down his cheeks. The smell of his wound was nasty.
"I- uh," Nori wasn't sure what to say. But, she didn't have to. A loud animalistic noise, like a deer and a wolf mixed together. Alarmed, Nori snaps her attention to the deer person…
Nassa was no longer a deer person. She was a creature. Claws were on her hands, fur on her skin, her face had become a skull-like muzzle. Nori was terrified, she had never heard of anything like that before, and definitely hadn't seen anything like it either!
"This is why someone should have fed Nassa!" Saturn says, almost accusingly. Heliosray stared in horror at the new creature. He looked at Saturn.
"Please tell me her new snack isn't me!" He said in a terrified tone. Kaithenne looked scared too.
"Even if I wanted to, WHICH I DON'T, I couldn't," The creature growled, "Wait… you look familiar…" Heliosray also stopped what he was doing.
"You're the one who gave me the parts….. you pet Energon yesterday." He trailed off. "Nassa?" Kaithenne shook her head wildly, her platinum blonde hair getting messed up.
"Wait wait wait- who's Energon?" She asked in a confused tone. "Your dog?" Heliosray sighed.
"I wish. Energon is my pet dragon. He's only a baby. I found him when I was 10 vornears old." The male explained, minding his injured leg on the straps.
Nori was shocked. "A DRAGON!?" She exclaimed loudly. She had never seen a dragon, but had heard about them, never as a pet though.
Then, before anyone could respond, a door opened, and everyone looked towards who was there.
An Ijetixian doctor.
